Guys,

I just submitted my EE profile, and CRS is 452. Hopefully I will get ETA in the next draw. Just wanted to ask, how to add dependent child in the application? I am unable to find much info on the forum.

Cheers!
AB

you need to just specify number of total applicants (including you). After ITA you will have to submit your application with details of dependent children.

Experts,
can you anyone clarify that my in progress PHD will be considered for CRS scores. I have completed course work in PHD and got my mark sheets and waiting for thesis submission.Since I have seen in the following requirement in document required section in WES website below,

2. Mark Sheets/Statement of Marks

This is an click here.

What you need to do:

Option 1

For completed, incomplete and in-progress study, ask the institution responsible for conducting the examinations to attest and send your documents directly to WES in a sealed envelope that is signed or stamped across the back flap by the appropriate authentication officer at the institution that conducted the examination.

In the future, may be... not this week

It was by a white man and possibly a Canadian born, so I don't think it will have much bearings.

It doesn't work that way. On an average, 300 new profiles with 441+ CRS come into the pool everyday. That's why CRS is not coming down from 442. As I said even 439 cut off is far away.
What do we need to do ..I

With every IELTS result, many new express entry profiles are added into the pool. Some of them achive CLB9/CLB10 and their CRS easily jump to 440+. Thus, these results affect the CRS cutoff score.

Hey, Kubeir Kamal from a facebook group about Canadian immigration just shared this thought:

Just a thought, a wild thought.
If people whose scores are above 440-441 were to withdraw their profile just for a day this Wednesday,
We would actually have a draw in high 430s.

The 440s will be safe anyways as they will get their ITAs if not in this drawn then in the next couple.
But their this sacrifice of holding back their process for a month could actually benefit so many who have now been waiting for nearly a year at the scores of 437-438-439

Thoughts?

Perhaps it's worth thinking about and talking about :)
Difficult to get the word to all at 441+

Yeah, but I don't think we should underestimate how popular this forum is. I wouldn't be surprised 300-500 of 441+ were here. Might be enough to make a difference. But just wanted to put the thought out there.
Ya appreciate the thought.

Pool size on the 17/07/2018 (estimate)

600 - 1200: 219
451 - 600 : 314
441 - 450 : 866

Total: 1399

441 to 1200: Pool size entry (300/day) 17/07/2018 - 24/07/2018: 2400 - 2700

Draw size: 3750 (25/07/2018)

(2400+1399) Total: 3799...... 49 left on 441

(2700+1399) Total: 4099.....349 left on 441

Either way, cut off estimate (25/07/18): 441

Tie break with 49 left on 441: ??
Tie break with 349 left on 441:??

08/08/2018 draw size: 4000

Hi seniors! Hi everyone!

Please help me understand about profiles allowed to have in the pool as a married couple.

At the moment, each of us has a profile. We are both candidates in the pool (waiting for ITA or NOI), with different CRS and characteristics: husband with 434, ielts CLB 9, master. Me with 402, master but languages not maximized, TEF (between 7 and 10) and IELTS (between 6 and 10).

I am a little bit confused right now. I understand that one (same) person cannot have two profiles, but what about couples??

I thought that husband/wife may both be candidates in pool as principal, waiting to receive ITAs/EOIs/NOIs. Having said that, if both spouses received ITAs with their profiles, the couple should choose which profile use to apply because only one application should be send as family (once ITAs received). That´s correct?

I know that usually it doesn’t make sense to have both a profile, because the couple would choose the spouse with higher CRS as principal applicant. But in our case, it is relevant to have separate profiles because although he is the one with higher CRS, I am the one who may be elegible under ontario french speaking skilled worker.

I am so sad that I couldn’t get CLB 9 in all four TEF abilities. TEF exam is not available in my country so I cannot retake it any time this year.

If you combine your profile with him being the main applicant, what would your score be? Or try it on the calculator and see .

Hi,
His CRS 434 is with me as accompanying spouse, including my master and TEF results (we calculated it without me and his score results exactly the same). For other hand, I need to appears as principal if I want to have a chance under Ontario FSSW stream :(.
