Some might say the idea of express entry is to favor the very best. So, those of us pool dwellers with Clb 9+, Phds/masters degrees, over 3yrs work experience and bound to loose 5+points soon, please make your voices heard. We've maxed IELTS (clb9+); we're brilliant (masters degrees+); Resilient (almost a year of being passed over, and we're not giving up); experienced (we're a bit older because we've studied and worked longer), so the queue should not be held up when it's our turn, till they have welcomed enough new entrants to take our place, just because they are in some cases a year or two younger.

Perhaps, OINP could come to our rescue soon, however the OINP selection criteria is unclear. Since their selections are not done consistently throughout the year, some of us might have lost points then. Something has to give soon, or else our points will keep dropping while the death knell for our Canada dream looms.

What's your CRS and NOC?

@abhishek_89 Dude, I think we need start predicting football WC matches..that's a lot easier than IRCC lol :)
Yes, I am already doing that by betting on football matches! It's easy money and a profitable venture unlike predicting CRS! :)

@abhishek_89 , @Reddiered07 we need you to guide the sinking ship of optimism to the shores of hope :D . We know we are helpless with the draw cutoffs , but you guys help people like us to sustain this 14 day gap :D . The whole community seem scared and the momentum of hope from ROH 94 is seemingly dismantled. Save us all! :D
I don't see any silver lining in the current trend, even my optimism is sinking! Look at all available options, OINP or other PNPs if things don't change soon.

Nope!! No hopes now for me atleast!! 435 from Aug 1st :)
Don't lose hope, you are a hero member :) Go for TEF , thats the fighting route. On the 'accompanying vs not accompanying question', I gave it a fair bit of thought and at the end didn't like the not accompanying route as a personal preference. Will go for one more round (both of us and yes its exhausting as you know for sure) of IELTS before my score comes down to 434 in Aug and then will give myself a few months to get somewhere around 7-8 points at least from late this year's TEF exam.

Did i miss anything here?
I don't think so! Even my CRS comes down by 5 points when I select Non-accompanying Spouse as my Spouse ECA + IELTS is currently giving me 27 points whereas I gain only 22 points in case of Non-accompanying.
@Mayur_M can you please tell how much points you're gaining for Non-accompanying vis-a-vis how many you are losing for your Spouse ECA+IELTS?

big hope for those sitting at 440 and 441 in the next round. 442 has been cleared already and as long as there is a 2 week gap only, score may be lower in the next round :) think positive!
But 2 IELTS results will be released between July 11 and July 25. So, unless you are in that list of those who increase their scores to above 440 by July 25th, it is bad news!

@Mayur_M Our CRS also drops in case of 'non-accompanying spouse'. Spouses are not always a burden bro :p Its 30/30 in our case  even helping hubby out in his distant learning master program. He doesn't have time to study, so lol, doing assignments and projects on his behalf. Will get him 7 more points by next August, IA. But really really really hoping against the hope that we get ITA before that.
