Hello,
I have got my acceptance letter of conestoCo college for jan 19 intake. Have paid my deposit $1500. Now my question is
I have all over 6.5 and in one module i have hot 5.5 . So i have to apply my visa in general category. Is there any issues to get pass my viss ?
May b not !
but u have to pay one year fees

Acc to new rules, after 9th june, if you apply for visa, u shud have 6 in each module. If less than 6, your visa could get rejected. Also, you have to pay one year fees.
That’s for SDS ✌
For general category, you jus need to meet collage requirement, additionally, u need more paper work to show financial etc

Hi,

I want to study in Canada and the option available, as told by some consultants, is getting in a SPP college. I have heard that a Diploma program does not have much scope and it will be hard to get a good job after completion of the course. How true is this? or Is there any scope of pursuing Ms as I have a 15 year of education? I wish to pursue a Post graduate diploma in Marketing or Finance, preferably marketing as I have 1 year of work exp as a Business Development Executive.
Profile check-
10th- 8.6 CGPA
12th- 93.25%
Graduation- 71.25% ( B.com(hons) from University of Delhi) Graduated in June 2017
IELTS- 6.5

Your help is needed.

Ms obviously have a upper hand in comparison to pg diploma but in canada, if you want to work in a corporate world, your degree doesnt matter much as they are interested in the work and your contribution. Moreover diplomas focus on practical aspects and prepare you for working in a corporate environment.

Thank you for your reply. So is it worth joining a diploma program? Worth in terms of ROI and the time that i’ll be spending in doing the course? Obviously a lot depends on student as well but I want just an overall perspective on the scope and demand for these courses.

Well i dont think that m the right person to answer this but i do have a perception that the pg diplomas are better in canada than in india but at the same time it varies from one college to another. Also, as u have said, it also depends upon the student. You shoud apply for universities as well as clgs but universities demand IELTS 7 score and not less than 6.5 in each module.
