Hi all.

I have recently submitted my PR application and my AOR is 30th May 2018. Incidentally today while talking to someone I found out that I have made a mistake in giving out details of my wife's travel history. Since the travel dates back to before our marriage so hence the goof-up. My wife travelled to Canada and US with her family in 2009. The details that I put in are (say):
1. 1st July to 10th July - Canada
2. 10th July to 15th July - US and then back to India

Wherein actually the following happened:
1. 1st July to 10th July - Canada
2. 10th July to 12th July - US
3. 12th July to 15th July - Canada and further back to India.

Now my question is how serious is this mistake and how can I rectify this. Should I raise a CSE for this?

Any help would be solicited.

TIA

Call up CIC and tell them it;s an honest mistake, they will accomodate, they will ask you to send mail to your CIO which you can ask them which is it .

I think an Letter or Explanation(LOE) will be enough

Yes that is exactly what we are discussing...here also it says that any additional document not asked for can be uploaded through a web form, which is again a CSE....please correct me if I am missing something..

Don’t waste your time on whether it’s LoE or CSE, just use the link mentioned in that page and update your details, as another meneber said you can call them, but first get this documented that you have provided the updated travel history ;)
