I selected NOC 2171, as I had to collect data for client requirements(for a s/w) through different techniques, interact with developers and business users, conduct demos, and present reports to management. My main concern is the inconsistency in job titles in Job offer and reference letters. Hope I am not queried on this.

It sounds like business analyst duties to me.

same here. I did some search and it seems that the time varies between a few hours to a few weeks (or even months). It’s not clear what factors play important roles. Likely the amount of info they need to verify and the ease of doing so. Wish I had more information on this.

Medical Result under review: Status Updated on 24th May

There has been no update after this. I am worried about my application status, as many people are getting medicals cleared in 7 to 10 days.

Could anyone please tell me if there is any specific reason for delay. Also what is the general processing timelines now. Thanks!!

Yes @boldmove2018.. most of my job duties match with BA's. Infact, they advertised the job post with the title Assistant Data Analyst/ Business Analyst. But in the job offer letter and payslips they mentioned only Assistant Data Analyst. I am a bit anxious that this inconsistency in job titles in offer and reference letters may lead to misrepresentation.

Is there anything you could have done better? Or the job situation is just complicated to describe? I don’t think you’ll be blamed for your complicated situation as long as you tried your best to represent it. Put yourself in the shoes of an officer, would you reject a case because of a complicated job situation that a candidate is trying to describe?

There isn’t a perfect solution and I’m sure they’re aware of how complicated job situations can get. My sense is that they are looking for two things: did you lie about things that you claim you have? Are you eligible (more than one year of experience)? In terms of nitty gritty details I honestly don’t think they matter.
