they will still get stuck at the later stages of the application. I wouldn't expect much from CIC

I have seen you posting quite a while now about being stuck at a certain stage for a very long time, would mind sharing your timeline please? just want to prepare for the longest waiting period.. :):)

Pretty much. Probably best to expect 16-18 months in order to avoid being extremely disappointed.
exactly. it happened to me in January when I suddenly got eligibility, criminality passed, meds extended, RPRF request and so I got excited and I cancelled the submission of my application under EE thinking here we go, it's moving really fast, no need to spend extra money. LOL.

This shows how CIC works is real mystery , no one knows what going to happen next. On one hand I have seen many people over the last few months getting ppr in 8-10 months and I am talking about paper based applicants. And on the other cases like you guys :( ...

As long as I get it within the 18 months time frame I'll be happy. I went through all of the stages in the past 5 months: from anger, to grief, denial, etc. Now I'm in the acceptance stage, just peacefully waiting for the Golden email :)
