I think Mississauga purposely delaying pple applications, I don’t see any movement from October and November, even Scarborough making things easier now. And if u call they will be telling u to wait 12 months, what if my application not completed b4 that time?

Anybody planning on renewing PR card? Mine will expire in about 9-10 months, given the speed in Mississauga office , I am not sure I will get my passport before that ...

It depends on the officer, some do background and then test, some do test then background.

While that is a true statement in general, I have noticed that Mississauga goes to DM soon after the test. It probably means they wait for background checks to complete before they send test invites.

My friend (Scarborough office) got DM less than a couple of weeks after test...we actually live within 20 minutes of walking distance, somehow my file ended up in Mississauga... must have been picked up by the wrong truck

And that friend doesn’t even live in Canada anymore- moved to another country about 5 months ago before IP
