Has any one received VCM (Program assistant) reply recently that "file is undergoing additional background check and it may take few months" Specially this reply after you receive update on cic online system?

All of those here in this thread, who got update on 27th Feb for ADR changed to "Review of additional documents: We are reviewing the additional documents you provided." So, anyone got PPR and still all of those are seeing same status of ADR :-- Review of additional documents: We are reviewing the additional documents you provided. ??

@BillHyatt Need Your Guidance On completion of my 6 months i sent a mail to London visa office and raised Case Specific Enquiry to London about my application status so on 19 mar i received a reply from VCM that i am scheduled for an interview convocation in Abu Dhabi office. Today i received a reply for my CSE raised That i am scheduled for an interview convocation in ACCRA office I am Indian national residing in UAE Abu Dhabi
So I am confused where the actual interview will be scheduled ?

Today i completed 180 days and sent email to VO few hours back. Not sure if that helped..

@BillHyatt why is that Oct people getting ppr but Aug 1 to 10th are yet to receive PPR. i am pnp (ontario) Aug 9 AOR still no update on my file. I have not sent a single follow up email nor order GCMS thinking i will get ppr soon as july started but then now i see trend wise Aug 1 to 10th are not getting.

Hope you get PPR soon, do you think follow up email or GCMS somehow delay our process?

U might want to consider this "anamoli" or discrepency. Since previosuly 3 months pattern was noticed for moving applications in patches to ip2...

Do you it delays the process if we follow up with LVO or ask for GCMS notes? Its like LVO gets angry if we keep bugging them about update.

Got Ghost update on Friday.. got ADR today for addiitional client information..various things about my current education ...

Need to submit by 11 April

What additional client information did they requested ( I guess its provided when we are filling the visa app) ? why current education (Are you still studying ) ?

First of all I am not an applicant and have no plans to land in Canada except for visit in future. However, thanks for your prayers.

Gcms notes doesn't slow process but sometimes can speed up processing as Analyst have to review the file.

However, emails can slow the processing as Analyst have to tell the status of the file. Hundreds of emails can slow down analyst speed of working.

The batches opened includes files from July August September and October. In the past, we saw some files going to IP2 later than others as well.

For me there can be exceptions. The good thing is that you are in IP2 finally. Good Luck.

I guess it will be Abu Dhabi but the final confirmation will be included in Letter or Interview Call you will receive from IRCC. This information can also be found in GCMS notes.
