Hello guys,
Yesterday we did MP inquiry as normal processing time was exceeded in my application( I’m 17 feb applicant) .The MP said she got only this information that the criminality is still in process and it has no timeline....
It has been 8 months that my bcg is in process..

no updates. Meh don't know what to think... I want to know though did everyone who had a NOT APPLICABLE bgc as their status on gc key get this update from yesterday about "we are processing....".. are there any applicants whose bgc status is still not applicable on gc key?

lol I had actually posted the same question to you. From the 3-4 people I checked with, they had 'we are processing your application' and did not get the bcg update. Seems like only the NAs were updated.

Karina Gould from Burlington ( Minister of democratic institutions)... She only asked about the status and that’s it...I was really waiting for the MP inquiry but as I see there is no new update ....
But who knows may be they will speed up the processing...
Do anyone think that MP can do better than this, if so we can find some other MP who can intervene properly??
Anyone else who have experience with MP inquiry??

she is a liberal politician, could it be a reason that just like what happened in parliament, liberal politician are not willing to push the spousal sponsorship?

i have no idea but an MP intervention after 12 month deadline has to be hard and not just to get us know the status, instead they are suppose to ask CIC why is it not completed yet and make sure that it completes ASAP.

i think you mean "your application is in progress...." yeah as i had predicted before those with this bgc status usually get late updates. However, what i would like to know is that those from afghanistan who had been waiting since march and april - why didn't they get this update?
I am so annoyed. I wish things were clearer.
Could people who visit their forum often let us know if your BGC status was NA before is it still NA? did it change/ not change in yesterday's update?

My husband talked to another MP also before sending an inquiry from this MP, he was also ready to help us but we also thought to send inquiry from our local MP

No one really knows the answer. However, specualting 10 -12 months in total. If its past 12 months send in a web form request.

i am looking at the spreadsheet and under the new delhi tab i can see that a september applicant had bgc processing on feb 26 (one day prior to the "big update/glitch), two november applicants had bgc processing on feb 21 and feb 24; one december applicant had it on feb 16, and one aug applicant on feb 15... so they had given bgc updates prior to the big update/glitch to random people who didn't fit the bill.... therefore, i don't think this was a glitch guys. but... only speculation... we will see what happens.. the wait is brutal
