Yeah, they’ll only allow you to renew it if it is expiring in less than year. The complete process of passport renewal took 2 months in my case

Did you get any confirmation email from cic after uploading ur new passport ? What do you mean took 2 months? Can it be delayed the process time after renewing passport?

Have you tried giving CIC a call?

I also did Upfront Medicals last year, and I sent them my results trough Case Specific Enquiry. After that, I gave them a call and they verified that they had received the medical results. Then, I asked them to verify if the IME# where attached to my PR application and they told me that they were not attached and that I needed to send another CSE to request the medical results to be attached to my PR application.

After sending the second CSE, requesting the attachment of the medicals to my PR application, two days later I received an email from CIC saying "The medicals provided have been electronically attached in the application". After that the status in MyCIC changed to the following:

Application status We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you. Help - Application status
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Help - Review of eligibility
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam. Help - Review of medical results

I would suggest to give them a call and ask if your medicals are attached to your PR application or if they are still reviewing your results.

Yes i called them up this morning and the rep was nice enough to verify receipt of results. He sent note out to officee.hopefully that should take care of it.

Yeah, my online cic account said that additional documents that I sent have been recieved, before that it was, “No additional documents are required at this time”.
I mean the passport renewal process has approx two months processing time- from time you file an application for extension of passport to you get new one.

It did not affect in my case as I recieved medical with everyone else for similar application and AOR date pattern

Im 2017 jan applicant and I submitted upfront MR 2 month ago. But not updated so far.

You should get in next batch if not in couple days. They have been releasing month out. And yes, it seems they dont care to update until its time to issue MR. I did upfront too and it hasnt been updated still.
