I hve not yet received any email or mail so far from immigration.

@razerblade where did OCT old thread disappear?

There are multiple October threads. If you're asking about the very first one created by @rrajendra (titled 'October 2017 - Citizenship Applicants'), it was deleted by the moderators of this forum a long time ago. The reason they gave was double posting. All attempts in bringing it back were futile.

Still no further updates on interview/tests as of today. Even worse, due to travel for work, I had no choice but to submit an PR renewal yesterday since I can't take chances waiting for updates and getting stuck without a travel document for work.

It's just a waiting game, I guess. Good luck to us all. Thanks.

Looks like GTA applications are processed slow af. The problem i have is that I got no pages left in my current passport and I am travelling to Europe in May. I was hoping that I didnt have to renew my passport but nope its taking too long for processing.

I am one of those who got their AOR very late. I have two questions:
1) is it possible that they would send request for additional infor (quality assurance, fingerprint) before IP? or is it all IP?
2) does AOR mean my application is complete (at least nominally?)

1) can be anytime, even after the test
2) means your application was complete i.e. no missing documents, no unanswered questions, that's about it. Everything else like eligibility, criminality, security will be checked next, once processing begins

In case, if me and my spouse receive the same test date and time, we would'nt be able to as one of us have to take care of our 10 month old child. I think, if we give CIC this reason, they would be okay to change the timing for one of us.
