Good evening Legalfalcon

Seems I'm really stuck in security check. still waiting for my gcms to see details but today had a good info I'm pregnant and I'm principal applicant don't know if i should inform my VO or not. my medical exams expires in first week of march don't know if they will extend them if they know about my pregnancy or not afraid in case I need to re do them X-ray will be an issue and can also delay the process.

can you please advise?

Thanking you in advance for your habitual support

First of congratulations!!

No need to worry. In most cases IRCC will extend the medicals. In case they don't and ask you to re-do the medicals, IRCC has its protocol for pregnant women and women nursing infants. They are exempt from x-ray checks.

Congrats! Your baby is a new hope.

You don’t need to inform IRCC or your VO about your pregnancy. You’ll only need to inform them after giving birth. If in any case you are requested for a new medical exam, you can defer it and submit after you give birth together with your newborn’s medical.

@iamxty & @Maryz

You have to inform IRCC of the pregnancy. However, you can only add your child to the application after the birth.

My file processed under LMIA EXEMPTION Code no. A70 - R207.
I am Express entry Outland from India.
This my timeline
E-AOR - 29th September 2017.
ADR-1 - 16th October 2017 (Wife ECA)
ADR-2 - 20th November 2017 (My and Wife PCC)
MEDICAL PASSED - 30th November 2017
BACK GROUND - NOT APPLICABLE
TILL TODAY.

So my question is Lmia exemption code A70 - R207 is applicable for me.

The LIMA exemption has no bearing on the processing of your PR application. It simply means that you do not need LIMA as you are exempt.

Hello Legalfalcon,

I just realized that when asked about immediate family member details, I got the country of residence and city/town to be wrong because my brother moved to a different country. He is not accompanying me and he made the move 11 days before submission of my express entry application. I already sent a CSE explaining them about this. I believe my security is already done but with this new information will I be rejected or charged with misrepresentation?

Your immediate family members have no bearing on your application. IRCC asks for their details to verify when you later apply for sponsoring them.

Thank you so much :) was a real nice surprise for us :)

I sent them an email to inform as you recommended and they replied very fast saying that i will have to re do my exams when they will expire and instructions will follow for that, not sure if these are standard responses as the "we need additional verifications and so..." or is the officer in charge of our application who's answering

Its a standard response, and additional verification refers to your ongoing security. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

Hello Legalfalcon,

Thank you for your support on this forum.

I received my PPR today. I had applied from the USA with Ontario nomination. Our daughter is studying in University of Alberta in Edmonton on a Study Permit. I can send my wife's and my passport to CPC Ottawa but I am not sure how to do it for my daughter. Please advise. Thanks again.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I have a query regarding pcc. We received my wife pcc from Hungary which covers her complete stay but in document, it is mentioned that validity of document is only for 90 days and we already have passed that period. Should i get another pcc or this copy will suffice.
@legalfalcon and other senior members please advise on my case.

Thanks,
Do i have raise CSE to inform about dependents in india and ask for Visa office for them
You will have to send the passports to the local visa office. So in the email you will have to inform IRCC where each member is, and based on that they will ask you to send the passports to the respective offices.

Hi @legalfalcon

I have a PCC obtained on 15.12.2017 since I was expecting ITA around that time. But I did not get an ITA as yet.

If I get my ITA around next month and if I submit documents, will CIC reject my application if it expires during the application processing period.

@legalfalcon and other senior members please advise on my case.

As per IRCC the PCC should be issued after the last time the applicant visited the country, if its for a country which is not your country of residence. The validity on the document does not matter.
