If the next draw is after 2 weeks on Feb 7th with 2750 ITAs, the CRS cut off would decrease but based on the current average intake the decrease would be marginal. With 442, you could be on the border.

Even i am at 442. if not Feb 7th, it will be a longer wait as my score will go down to 437 in feb.

Hey. I am new here ( new comments but been reading you lot for a while!) we are on crs 442 since November 2017, losing 5 points in April so I guess we still have a "ray of hope" up until April 2018. I need your advice, I know decision is ours but what would you do?
My husband can get extra 2 points for his school education but obviously we need to have it WES approved which will cos again, it is quite complicated process in the country he is from so it may take 2 months...who knows... Would you wait and see with 442 or would you start the tremendous process for the sake of 2 points?
Was so hoping for today's draw...damn it!

Do not loose your hope, you are the chosen one Will get your ITA either on Feb 7 or 21..

As someone mentioned before I believe that cut-off on Feb 7 will be 442 with Dec tie-breaker, so if your profile was created in Nov you are in.

No it's not early days for me any way will monitor the process for any changes but I stand a chance only by OINP in 2018 which was changed in Jan I feel I should have applied in Nov but was occupied with Major thing hence could not. I will only be hopeful if ITA number increases or OINP sends me NOI...

But the current strategy by OINP is not sustainable so i strongly believe that they will soon issue NOIs to candidaes with 400 and above.

I would wait and save the money if I were you. There will be at least 3 or 4 draws before his ECA results arrive, more than enough time for a 2-point drop to 442.

Hi, what does Tie-Breaker mean?

I am at 442 and submitted our application on January 22nd it was updated in EE system on 23rd January. So, if the draw closes at 442, do we qualify?

By my computation as of today the minimum 280 per score, that is 840 total for 441, 442 and 443.

Every two weeks 60 people per score enter between 441 and 450 so by next draw it will be 840 + 600 = 1440 for 441 to 450.

Given that we now have 1400 every two weeks for 451 to 600

If we estimate 350 for 600 to 1200
the Pool will look like this on February 7th

600 - 1200 350
451 - 600 1400
441 - 450 1440

therefore next cutoff is likely be 442 with a December Tie breaker.

Yes, this could be one reason for 444 cut off. I had roughly 200 at each of those scores, if I had added 280 instead, my cut off for today would have been around 442/443. The averages are a bit higher than normal this time even considering the difference.

Wouldn't a live chart be better, so that we can know the cut off way before they announce it by seeing who is ranked 2750.

I hope your profile creation date/time is around Nov, so that you don't feel the brunt of the tie breaker rule.

Thankfully yes. I created my profile sometime in September 2017 (Improved IELTS in December to get to 442 score)
