All Landing immigrants or work permit person,
Please avoid Niagara for Flag Polling. they take only 61 application in total (One day ). First of all they are not interest in taking application, they just give excuses. Use other location like Sarnia or 1000 Island. May be you have drive extra 100 KM. but it will worth it. You will not waste your money and time in Niagara.

Oh no
We were planning on going on Tuesday very early in the morning.
Do you know if the bridges in 1000 islands and sarnia can be crossed by foot?

I am not sure about On foot. But you can call Border Security Customer Care Number and ask them.
Next 1000 island is operating 24 hours and 7 days a week(as they told me). so you are good to go on weekend too.

Try the Peace Bridge, I've seen better luck than with the Rainbow Bridge
Thanks but I recently read that the pedestrian crossing is closed for construction until next year :(

Good luck!!!! Could you please check if it's possible for pedestrians to cross at that bridge?
Hello,
I went to 1000 island Canada Border Service. ( Thousand Islands Bridge). It just took 15 minute. I am done with my Landing . It was a great experience . People are good and they are operating 24 hours a day and 7 days a week (means you can also go on weekend).

Pedestrians: I asked patrol officer that can we cross it on bridge. He told we do not have pedestrian walk way but, yes, they do accept if someone come with flagpole letter from across border. (It was a confusing answer but I think it is not a busy place and you can use road side walk to cross border). Is it you are not sure or have any confusion, then call Canada Border Service customer care number and ask them they can help you with this. (ask customer care to connect to Thousand Islands Bridge office or ask them to call and solve your query)

Have a good day and BEST OF LUCK.

I need a bit of guidance in regards to landing at 1000 island crossing.

So i have to take my parents for landing who do not have US Visa so what would be options ? My understanding is Canadian border i will face while returning when denied entry from US or is there any way to contact Candian border patrol just to make sure that they are accepting flagpolling ? So did u cross by foot or by car ? I will drive so will it work and i have Canadian passport and my parents hv to do landing

Your help will be appreciated

Thanks

Well, you don't need a US visa or flag pole. A flagpole is a letter which is like refusal to entry in USA. So you will return back to Canada and enter again in Canadian border.
