Hi Everyone,
Good news, our application was received on November 15/2017. We got AOR1 for the sponsor on January 13/2017 and another AOR1 for the applicant on January 16/2017. We successfully linked the application on GCKey but we don't see a request for Schedule A. Similarly, we don't see anything regarding police checks (we submitted them with the application). Oddly enough, today we received an e-mail from CIC requesting medical examination for the applicant (my wife) but we also don't see this on the GCKey account.

Should I call CIC?

Anybody knows that after you submit Schedule A and police certificate on mycic account,do you receive a confirmation message says that you upload documents successfully! And how long will it take to get approved for the additional documents? Best wishes for everyone! And also I (sponsor)got email from cic with Uci and application#,does it mean I get approved for sponsorship?

Yes, you will see a confirmation page once you upload and submit.
It may take about two months after that before they begin your background check. We submitted our documents in October and just now received an update on GCKey that they have started processing the background check.
Your letter with UCI and application # is your AOR (acknowledgement of receipt) which means that they've reviewed your application for completeness (ie no missing documents or info) and have begun processing it. Sponsorship Approval (SA) will come after that, average time is 1-2 weeks for SA, but some take longer (my SA took 7 weeks after AOR).

I wouldn't worry yet, I would wait another or so, have to remember there has been holidays in the mean time. They say 6-8 weeks but some take longer. People who had their applications received the same day as us got AOR1 before us so don't worry quite yet

Even tho I uploaded all the required additional docs, it still says ‘your action is required’ in the list of 'View my submitted applications or profiles.' But once I open 'check status and message,' then it says
'Review of additional documents: The additional documents you provided have been uploaded.'
I wonder it's normal. Please advise me what is supposed to happen after uploading the docs!
And when I hit the button 'view submitted application,' it says 'replacement provided' so I believed I did it right....
