After 2 years of struggle(my own issues) post Engagement in Immigration!

Made it tonight with ITA on 457 Huge relief by grace of Almighty

Wish the same for every one who is going through the pain and hope the rest of the process goes smooth for my Family

Let me tell the guys who are in struggle - me and my wife have given 15 attempts of IELTS (embarassed ? - not at all). Am a skilled Engineer and she is Corporate banker but even then “if life gona put us to test”

#we did not give up then and we shall not in the coming future

I don't think it is because of any software limitations. Sending mass emails from a database is easy. It's just that the process has some manual aspect to it. Different people get the email at different time even if they all qualified.

That's alone is wrong. I don't think they are using a cloud service or a big server like Google does. Do a search base on certain rule from a relation db with tens of million records is already huge for a small in-house server. That is not take in to account that their SMTP server might be shared with other government agencies (e.g. CRA)

My point is not arguing with you on how they should do their work. I just want to let you know people don't choose to be jerk just to make fun of you. They are paid to make your life easier, they will try their best to do so. Either you get use to the current system or come back after 5 years after a lot of software patches and enhancements.

thats not what my issue is! my issue is with all these experts on this forum giving us fake hope and counselling us for nothing since november.
i stopped counting how many people here said " oh yeah in january the CRS is going dowwwwwwn bru for sure like 100% its going down and u will for sure get the ITA "

and now its JANUARY!! AND the same people are now telling us '' oh nooo no draw, its going to get competitive now, score is going to go up now and ITA will decrease " why do they play with us like this? im sick and tired of my hopes constantly being crashed.

my dad is checking on me every wednesday. what do i say to him? what do i tell everyyone? im fed up.
had people not told me to wait and relax, i would have given IELTS again.
now im stuck in the middle and cant do anything.

ive been unemployed for so long now and all i wanted was to go back to working.

and now

why did everyone keep telling I will get the ITA in january and now same people are saying i wont get it because they didnt do a draw.

It is your problem to trust people. People are acting solely on their interesting. If the guy who hasn't gotten ITA yet give you an advice of not taking IELTS again, you should just ignore. He might say so just to stop you from improving your score which in turn will reduce his chance of getting ITA.

Wow! Your response blows me away with it's ridiculousness. I have found, and I'm sure majority of the people here can attest to this fact, that people on this forum have been extremely helpful and are not just here for selfish reasons but also to help others. The people who help others out are not getting anything in return but are doing it from the goodness of their heart.

The person who you're giving advice to about not listening to those of us who don't have an ITA yet - here's the thing this person is a serial whiner and he brings this negativity to this forum every Wednesday. And even then the good people here have tried to help him/her and give them hope. Their attitude, and what they do is ultimately their decision. They are not entitled to anything. Nobody here is.

Welcome the the world of adulthood. Even there are 10% of bad people, how are you going to identify them. As a group of 'nice' people like you, are you going to confront them? All I tell him is don't take people words serious, especially strangers (like wise-man said). He need to have own judgement on what is right or wrong, and it is his fault to believe in fairy tales.

Ok. At least, we agree on one thing that it is his problem . He sure will complain why the process is so slow etc. after receiving ITA

Yes, you can use the result with the highest score, provided it's not expired.

Thank you @ishq74 for your kind words! I appreciate it a lot! My current score is 403, had a birthday few days ago so dropped it even further but I’m not losing hope, Canada will come for all of us sooner or later! 2018 will be THE year! Good luck to everyone!

And remember, don’t judge, everyone has their own tactics how to come to Canada, while some are hoping for PNP other are doing Masters or learning french! As long we have common goal it’s ok!

Canada needs more positive and supportive people like you. We all have our unique life circumstances and journeys to Canada, but we all will make it!
