Though I'm not an expert but in my opinion, it doesn't matter. You can select any of the NOCs. But in your work experience letter, mention your major responsibilities. You better go with 2112 cz it holds your job title.

Hi everyone,
We have received AOR, waiting for PPR.

I'm an Industrial pharmacist (3131). I have got my ECA through WES.

I got to know that Industrial Pharmacist comes under Regulated Jobs, so if I want to work in Formulation R&D or related department in Canada after I get my PR, do I need to go through PEBC and is Licensure required for the job search.

Hello All,

I have applied under NOC 3131- Industrial Pharmacist, My work experince is in Pharmaceutical Industry and I have done my evaluation through WES, since I have not worked as a pharmacist.

Do I need to get evaluation done by PEBC. Since, it is mentioned under NOC 3131 category that " If you intend to work as a pharmacist you need to get your credentials assessed by PEBC" and I have done evaluation through WES on the basis that I do not intend to work as a Pharmacist and working in the Pharma industry do not require to get licensed or credentials assessed by PEBC.

Is this justification enough for CIC to evaluate my application? Is there anyone who had same scenario as mine.

Thanks

Hi, I’m from the Philippines. I already applied for the Document Evaluation Online, But I haven't send it via courier yet.

I just would like to ask if The Request Form for ECA Report can be sent together in one mail with the document evaluation requirements? or I must send it in separate mails?
How am I going to pay offline for the ECA REPORT? Thank you

I want to apply for ECA .My education is Pharm D (batch 2005-2010). I just want to know that experience in this field is essentially required for ECA to be done as my experience is of teaching only my NOC does not appeal as phrmacist, but I want to work there as pharmacist in Canada after immigration ,so can I apply for ECA from pebc without having experience in that field will it be objectionable? by immigration officer or I should simply go for ECA from pebc? I can't afford to throw points while going through wes,but my confusion is I don't have pharmacy experience and Noc is different..(4032) do immigrant officers claim that why you have done your ECA from pebc as not applying in 3131 noc ...with no in home experience.....in pharmacy field

No,,,

I have Bachelor in pharmacy. But worked in different NOC.

Used WES and got PR without an issue

No I did not report anything to WES as I am Industrial Pharmacist or whatsoever, I have just applied for evaluation and sent my transcripts. Can you explain your reply in detail. There is no provision to show WES as what you have done or what you are doing. As far as PEBC is concerned, they evaluate the entry level pharmacy degree and with B. Pharm transcript they can give ECA equivalent to Professional Pharmacy degree. My question is if one has M.pharm degree and does not intend to work as a Pharmacist, does WES evaluation suffice the requirements of CIC or not?
Thanks

Hello dear just a question what did you select after getting your ECA from WES
“BACHELORS DEGREE” OR “MASTERS DEGREE/ PROFESSIONAL DEGREE NEEDED TO PRACTICE IN A LICENSED PROFESSION”.

Thank you

o,

Hello Harman, I am also from India and done Bachelors in Pharmacy from India but I didn’t register my degree in India or I haven’t applied for a license and now I am in New Zealand and my work experience is in entirely different stream more of an accounting and taxation.
My question to you is when you assess your Pharmacy degree from PEBC do they require your Indian Pharmacy license as well or they just evaluate your degree on the basis of education. And what did you select Bachelors Degree or Professional Degree. As i want to max out my CRS score.
Your help is highly appreciated.
Thank you

You have 2 scenarios here.
First one, that I personally preferred for you. Go through WES , they dont need the licence to asses your degree. And if you study in NZ add that study too. It wont charge you extra and you will get the same point as professional degree. However with only pharmacy ,you will only get it as normal degree equivalence not professional.

2nd option.
Very lengthy. If you go through through PEBC you need lots of documents. If you have not registered in india, you have to make an affidavit mentioning that you don't have registered in india after study.

PEBC takes 3-4 months to complete evaluation . WES only 1 month.

And last , I am not sure, you cannot call yo ask CIC, but if you don't have experience as pharmacist , I would not recommend to show your degree as professional.

I hope it will help u
