Thanks for the response. The application is already submitted and been over 10 months now. We did inform of this to CIC call centre before submitting the representative stated that I submit all required documents to support application that will be fine. We did just that but still the entire application is delayed and I have sent you the GCMS notes on the mail id of yours for the same.

Let me review your notes and get back to you. I get swamped by emails and messages everyday. I try and answer as many as I can.

Dear @legalfalcon

My friend who is an MBBS- Doctor, will be a dependent applicant and his wife- who is a dentist- will be the primary applicant. Now his wife's ECA report has arrived but not my friend's. Can he go ahead and create an EE profile and not claim points for his education? They both have already have their IELTS results out. Without claiming his education points, their score is 468.

What do you suggest? There won't be any issue in filing documents post ITA if he does not have his educational qualifications assessed right?

Actually, my friend has already applied for his ECA but its already been 2 months and there is no status change on when his ECA may come, he is just wasting his time waiting for the report to arrive.

Please advice

Yes, they can create the profile and not claim the points for the dependent spouse. However, when the ECA is released, they can amend the profile and the CRS score will increase.

What is the status of your application. Have you cleared eligibility? Also do you see s15/16 on the top right corner of the pages where the information is blank?

Eligibility is passed and also medical.

Yes I do see s15/16 on the pages where information is blanked out.

R10 is also passed and also Biographics have NRT.

But my question is how can other people see the dates while I can't? because s15/16 should apply to all of us right?

hello legalfalcon

My application is still Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. , is this R10 section , and how long this will take.
Thank you.

Hi @legalfalcon

I tried to be honest and mentioned about my Uncle in Canada thinking there's no harm as I'm not claiming any relative points. Now CIC has asked me whole lot of documents to proof my relation with him which I obviously can not provide. Can u plz advise wat should I do and will it have any adverse effect on my application?

I'm an FSW-O applicant

If you remove him from your application, does it impact your points? If not, then you can amend your post ITA application and remove him, and this will repopulate the list of required documents and the relationship document will be removed.

Usually R10 is passed within 4-8 weeks after application is submitted. Based just on the My CIC status it is difficult to predict at what stage your application is. To determine where your application is, you would need GCMS notes.

No, s15/16 is based on the specifics of the application. Not everyone will have it and not everyone will have it in the same very spot. To read on s15/16 see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/s15-s16-top-right-gcms-denote/

Also see your GCMS notes in Activities, which is in the middle pages of the notes.

Hi Legalfalcon,

I have a PR application in progress, however one of my parents was just found inadmissible to enter Canada on security grounds. (Police Officer) Am I now inadmissible as well?

Thanks

See if it impacts your CRS, if not, no need to worry. Just raise a CSE and explain the situation.

Can you please provide more details? When did your family apply, were you a part of the application, under what program did they apply?
