Today I was asked to send them details about my PhD, publications and so on..
I think they just started my BG check and thought they needed more info about me. Probably it will take them months to actually come back and see if I sent them anything. Then suddenly they realize they need more info then they ask for more info and so on..
Last time they asked me to send them my new passport scan. I had sent them this document almost one year ago through Case Specific Inquiry, right after I renewed my passport.
Been in Canada for 7 years and still dealing with these things )

Decision made on last Saturday No PPR yet. Tried to call cic multiple times but no luck. Wandering if anyone gt a chance to talk to cic and have some info about PPR timeline.

Same thing here ... been in the country for 7 years and they still need to do our background check and all those .... who coming in 6 months for those they don’t need to check.... only inland applicants have bad background.....

I am sure you BG check is in progress as early june applicants has been in progress for over a month now, they probably didn't update your ECAS. Stay positive.
