Thnx Dear,
Dr s nothing like SS mentioned anywhere in my notes. So my ques was does security of reguler case ( not ss) also conducted by csis n cbsa? Shoul i go ahead to check with cbsa?also how long does it take to hear back frm dem?
If you do not have SS, there is no need for checking yet. Just wait for some more time. CSIS gives a quick turn around. But for CBSA it can take unto 90 days to get any info from them.

What should I select as the provinces in the EE profile. I selected all Provinces. Would that be okey? or are there any specific ones I need to select?
You can select all provinces, however, DO NOT select Quebec. Because if you do your EE will be rejected as for Quebec the only way to immigrate is through the Quebec PNP.

@legalfalcon

In my personal history I showed every work ex or organization that I worked for.
But for my current job I showed working from Dec-14 to till date, company name and location.
I was sent on deputation to UK for 1 year by the company. I have mentioned all the addresses that I stayed in UK for that complete 1 year period and also mentioned same in my travel history. But didn't break the work ex in personal history. I have also provided UK PCC with no trace status and visa stamps with arrival stamp at UK and India and departure stamp from India and VISA stamp as well. I have also provided deputation letter which was given to me by the company stating time period on official letter head.I have also got thia included in my reference letter regarding deputation and performed same jobs as in India.

Now my question is since I did'nt break the current organization time period in UK and India, will that create any issue or rejection?

Need your advice.
It will not create any problem as you were working for the same organization. So you are all good.

Thanks for the reply.. but the issue is that cic gave me a deadlinw of 9th oct for submitting the revised ECA.. the message mentioned that if i failed to meet the deadline, my application will be reviewed basis docs available and my application may be refused.... but by then this hadnt been resolved with wes so i uploaded a letter od explanation that i have taken it up with wes ans it is bwing processed. I also attached proof of my mail exchanges with wes.
After this there hasnt been any response from cic. So i am fearing that they may refuse my application to meet their deadlines..i am 2nd july aor and my gcms notes indicate that eligibility is passed. Security has not started. The application is on hold due to the need of the modified eca.
Am following up with wes but if it can take weeks then i am fearing a refusal mail from cic.
What are ur views on this sir.
If you have sent the explanation then IRCC will give you an extension. Also, in your ECA its only your date of birth which is an issue, nothing else. You can follow up by sending a CSE.

Hi legalfalcon few questions:

1- you have mentioned earlier that security starts after recommended pass and not necessarily after pass eligibility. Does that reflect on gcms notes? Do they start security even though it says not started on gcms notes?

YEs, if your status of eligibility on pages 2 of the GCMS is blanked and you see s15/16 on the right top corner, then the security has started. To read on s15/16 see https://www.getgcms.com/blog/s15-s16-top-right-gcms-denote/

2- You have mentioned earlier that sub activity "security screening" does not necessarily mean the long SS wait. How do we know that we are in the long wait? Is there a number of SS entries we should look out for?

If you are in SS, you will see 4 entries before your application is approved. If you just see one SS, and the application is stuck there for a long time, then it will take a long time to be processed.

3- You have mentioned some time before that you are working on a security related blog/article. How is that progressing?

I just got busy with work, so all the new articles including the one on security will be posted by the end of this month. For now there is a thread in my signature, you can check that.

Thanks a lot for your time.

HI Legalfalcon

I'm having some job issues as I may quit or lose my job before ppr.I'm already 5 months since aor .BG-na2

Please advice on the below 2 Scenarios :

1.Suppose I quit my job before ppr ....I'm not claiming points for this job,but i will be changing my country of residence due to visa cancellation.Should i raise a CSE after serving 1month notice period or before?
Yes, if you are changing your county of residence you will have to inform IRCC via CSE and this will change your LVO too.

2. Suppose I get PPR during notice period , and I cannot get the visa stamping during notice period..how do I inform about changing visa stamping to my home country? Will it delay my visa process?
If you receive the PPR email, you can request IRCC to change your LVO to the country you are moving to, and IRCC after approving the request will give you additional 30 days to submit the PP.

Please advice as Im quite frustrated since I dont know how long I can manage with my current employer and I'm also nearing my 6 months.

Thanks

Thank you sir..thank you very much. I was worried that I had to break the time according to country in personal history.
I have one more question pls. As pof I have submitted a bank letter statingy address details, account number, balance and bank's customer care number on letter head stamped and signed by them. I also submitted 9 months bank statemrnt generated online containing bank logo and watermarked logo. But statement is without sign and stamp. Will that work?

And in my travel history I have mentioned the cities I visited in UK and purpose. Will that be enough?

Your medical reports will not be uploaded until the tests are done. So your medicals will not be passed for a while. Apart from that, there will be no impact.
Hello legalfalcon. Is it normal to not get a communication from CIC/IRCC for additional medical tests? Because I found out only once I called up the hospital to find out if they uploaded the test results! I've checked all folders in my mail box and on my cic profile and there is nothing.

Waiting on PPR
Hi @legalfalcon !

I applied for permanent residence under FSW program (Express Entry). Received AOR in January 2016. I applied for gcms notes, exchanged emails with IRCC and called them. Everything looks good except that they are still processing my ss (apparently for a very long time). I am getting notes from CSIS also.

What do you think is the longest wait time that any applicant has ever experienced between AOR and PPR?

Do you think there are many applicants who have surpassed the 2 year mark in wait times?

What do you suggest I should do?

Hello @legalfalcon

I am applying from Pakistan. But soon i will be travelling back to canada and submitting the CSE. I have arranged the PCCs based on PAKISTAN as my resident country for now. To avoid arranging the documents again i am applying from pakistan and then going to Canada. I assume after submitting the CSE the visa office will change to Ottawa. I want to run my application in canada so I was thinking to submit the PR Application from pakistan close to my travel date and after reaching canada i will submit cse right away so my application will be transferred to canada and then all the checks will start as an inland candidate.

1- Whether submitting application close to my travel date and putting cse will BEGIN my application evaluation in Canada? As the time between PR submission and CSE submission will be few days.

2- I assume after submitting CSE i dont have to submit the PCCs and travel history again as an inland candidate. Right?

3- do you know the time frame that how many days it takes to transfer the application to other VO? Will it delay my processing time?

thank you in advance
