I am sponsoring my husband. Here is his timeline:

Application Received: 30 March
AOR1: 19 April
Sponsorship Approval: 25 April
Med Done: 28 April
Sch A and PCC: 16 May
File transferred to NDVO: 24 May
AOR2: 5 June

This Tuesday, CIC account changed to “we need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with details” under reviews for additional documents.

But didn’t got any message or email to submit documents.

Any suggestions how we can found out what documents they need?

In most cases PA will receive an email shortly from NDVO regarding the docs they need , could be any document (mostly for verification purpose) . This at least show that the file is moving ! hope you get your PPR soon

i have same thing as well. What i am think is it could be PPR request; because i remember someone called CIC to ask regarding this issue and they said that it's a PPR request and required document is the Passport for the stamping purpose. So cross your finger, in the next batch you will see your PPR. just be positive.

Any 2017 applicants called for an interview? I applied on Feb 14th, 2017 .... file was transfered to NDVO in April 2017, and have been called for an interview in August 2017 to NDVO but the interview date has not been given yet. Please let me know if any 2017 applicants (who have been called for an interview) have been scheduled with an interview date. Thanks.

when we got a email for interview the date was already given exactly after a month.may be work load.u LL get the interview date soon.

I replied to AOR2 email i got from delhi. I just asked like last communication was aor2 after that 5 months since no update and Just want to make sure every going fine and latest status on my file. Make sure you give details in mail like uni/file no, full name,DOB. And subject line added my application number.

Can you please tell how long it took them to reply?

Call cic early in the morning. I had same issue and I called then to found out the missing or required documents.

What documents you were missing?
I called cic today , but the agent said I am not authorized to get information on my husband's behalf. Also said , PA should contact NDVO to get information.

I have read about a case wherein a family moving to Canada from India landed at Vancouver instead of Toronto as mentioned in their application, they were denied entry and PR cancelled. Please search related forum. Since your wife has a connecting flight to Toronto and she lands in Montreal logically the immigration procedure should be completed in Montreal.

Do you recall the thread or location where you read this http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/notices/2017-04-28.asp ? Want to know because was it before this came into effect or after this came into affect ?
Where you land in canada though application said different residence, i like to know more details on this too and probably others too, what if the person sponsoring moved to different province before their spouse could land ?

No... Gcsm notes can sometimes hinder our file's process.. it must be order only in urgency.. I'm waiting to hear some news from April-may applicants.. if May applicants satrt to get Background check start and we get nothing.. then i can think of GCMS notes..now we can just wait for background check start and PPR
