I am new to the forum. Can someone please guide me how long does it take approximately after medicals success to get decision from CIC?

Our medical was done in September 2016, status changed to decision made in May 2017.

Thanks for letting me know. Medicals were initially done in October for my parents but they were passed sometime after May because of some additional tests for principal applicant. Now they have extended the timeline of principal applicant till May but the medicals of dependent stay expiring in October. Don't know how is it going to work out if they delay after October? Any inputs please...getting very tensed

I guess you're not in our 2015 PGP Spreadsheet (link is in my signature, the red one).

If you give your complete timeline, I can add you to the SS. Or, you can add yourself using bottom part of "Add/Update Entry" sheet of the 2015 Google SS.

yes we received furtherance letter for which documents were sent and medicals passed

Finger print request date: May 2017.... WAITING SINCE THEN.

My MIL submitted finger prints at Canadian embassy New Delhi. any idea how long it takes after that.

Still waiting, background check is still ongoing. Not sure how long it will take, they renewed my parents' medical for one more year. I got GCMS notes and there is pretty much nothing there that I didn't know.
