@KiranK
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

My status changed to IP2 on Aug 10. In this forum i read that PPR's are being issued in batches. Does anyone has idea about how those batches are decided?

In which batch my application will be picked?

I see that people are waiting in IP2 sine Aug beginning as well.

The estimator predicts my date as 16th Aug based on average times.

Did you specifically asked for any checks , like eligibility etc, because that is the correct way to get accurate answers from them. To background questions they give random answers, so cant be sure here. I always suggest to be specific in asking.
Yes, I asked about eligibility, he said even R10 is not done yet, do not know how actually

OMG seriously! Are you CEC applicant or FSWO?
Such a huge mistake by CIC is strange..... Did you told them that your BGC was in progress as of your status?

Hey guys,

I always used to read your valuable comments. Immigration trackers are a fabulous creation, always trust a statistical point of view being from actuarial background. I believe, they could be updated to reflect current trends by giving suitable weights based on probability.

Didn't track my application much, however, believe, my timeline could provide some insight to Inland applicants.

Stream: FSW Inland
AOR: June18, 2017
Meds: July 14
PPR: Aug 14

Good luck to everybody!
Cheers

Ottawa is known to take 40 days also in NA... so let's wait a while.
You can call and ask for eligibility check to know whether they have started eligibility or not, it is usually quick after that.
40 days :(:(:(:( thats disappointing. Anyways let's wait.

@KiranK @gurik I have submitted my passport at my local VFS. I have a doubt. The email which i mentioned in the forms at VFS is different from the one which is registered from Express Entry Profile. Will there be any issue with the mis match of email ids? Did you guys get any email after submitting passport, stamping visa or dispatch of passport?
Congratulations on your PPR!!!
It will be no problem, these have no connection at all. Yes VFS will e-mail you updates.

@Kiran K :
Good to see that u r back!
Was waiting for your opinion..
Below are my timelines. Need your advice pls.

ITA 19 Apr
AOR 28 Jun
Med passed 19 July
BGC : NA (since ages ) PLUS PLS NOTE THAT : I HAVE NEVER SEEN MY BGC AS IN PROGRESS. So not sure about it being NA1 or NA2....
3 persons
FSW O
From India
Question 1: I am an ex defence officer from Army and have given all details of my service in my profile. Will my background of being an army officer hamper my chances of getting PR?
Question 2: I have been on med passed status and BFC : NA since 19 July. I know there are no fixed timelines and everything is case specific. But with your experience how much more time is expected for change in my statuses keeping in my background of being in Army ?
Question3 : How may I know that it's NA1 or NA2? Is it always the case that medical passed means NA1 done ?
Not sure wheather I missed BGS IP 1 or not...
Any assistance is welcome !

Hhahahahahahhhaha my dear I would love to, but just for hope's sake. For real, no one can predict the PPR date, I doubt even if CIC can even:).
Okay as per your AOR you have been considerable time in NA, now i have a doubt that your file is at CIO in that case you are in for a longer wait. i suggest you email and ask for your Visa office to get more clarity on which stage is your application is in now as processing times varies for Visa offices. So PPR estimate will be based on that, Ottawa is very fast and CIO very slow. i suggest you find your Visa Office and then we can analyse, also order GCMS if file is at CIO still.

Hi All, need some advise please if you don't mind.

My BG was "Application in progress, will send you a message when we start BG" from July 07 to August 11, then I received RPRF payment request on August 08 (which I uploaded the same day) then BG went to "Not Applicable" on August 12 and changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" on August 13. Is this IP2 now?

Thank you.
