I request you to please guide me.

Our PR application is approved and we got an email on 10th Aug 2017, requesting our passports. The deadline is 9th September, 2017.

Unfortunately, my husband is scheduled to travel to the US from 2nd Sept to 16th Sept 2017 and he needs to appear for the US Visa interview on the 21st and 22nd Aug 2017 for the same. This means that he will need his original passport with him till 16th Sept atleast, and we shall miss the passport submission deadline.

For your reference, I am the primary applicant and my husband is listed as dependent in our application. We have already replied back on the email we received and have also kept 'CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca' as one of the receipients.

Is this sufficient? When can we expect reply from Ottawa CPC? Also, given our case (we have already attached all the relevant documents - interview call, inivitation, employment proof etc - in the email), do you think CPC will approve our request to extend the submission deadline by 30 more days, that is, till 9th of October?

Received an ITA as an CEC applicant. I do have Canadian Experience but I am not in Canada for last 1 year and do not have any job offer or valid WP.

While filling an application, it asks for POF. What should I do ? Do i need to mention in the form and later, in LOE mention about being CEC, not submitting POF or I need to submit POF.

Kindly advice.

I have a job offer in Canada from an MNC but without LMIA. I declared this in my EE profile . my employer agreed to wait for me to get my PR and join the company.

recently i received an ITA under OINP , I have completed all the initial forms . Then this generated a personalized checklist which contains the following items like

offer of employment --- ( which is the offer letter by a canadian employer i have to upload)
letter of employment --- (what does this mean ? and what should u upload in this section)

Please and kindly tell me what should i do for letter of employment as i havent started working their , my employer cant give me that.

Sorry for asking few more questions. I just got my doc checklist and now have a few questions about the documents to be submitted:

• Medical exam : It says that medical exam has to be done for all dependents, even non-accompanying dependents. While filling the form we had mentioned details of our parents and siblings. Does CIC consider all these people as dependents or only spouse and child?
• Proof of funds: Between my spouse and me we have multiple accounts with different banks with FDs we are maintaining for the required funds. Does it matter if the letters that we get from banks are on different dates? Like, few weeks apart or does it all have to be issued around the same time?
• Proof of funds: I am short of funds by about 15% of the total requirement and this amount has been transferred to my account by my mother. Would this be considered as spike in funds by CIC? Do i need to get a gift deed for this amount ?
  
• Spouse Employment details: While filling the EE form i had provided details about my spouses work experience. But as i understand, no points are given for this unless the jobs were in Canada. When i got the document checklist, there are placeholders for these jobs as well. Is it mandatory to get reference letters and upload them? Can any changed be made post ITA in the form so that we dont have to submit these documents?
• Educational documents: Do all marks cards have to be submitted or only the Degrees, WES report and IELTS report for this placeholder?

I think i messed up my Permanent Residency application under express entry. Here are the details:
NOC- 3131 (PHARMACIST)
Self employed work- Mar 01, 2016 to May 30, 2016 ( company needed time to put me on payroll)
Payroll work- May 31, 2016 to present ( same company for self employed and payroll work)
I made up a profile under express entry on May 15, 2017 as I was nearing my eligibility and the self employed work does not count. MY CRS score is 483. I received invitation to apply in 2 days.

Not realising i was still 2 weeks short of my 1 year experience when i received my ITA and just considering the invitation sent to me and the points allocated, I received and accepted ITA on May 17 ( Cut off was 415).

I applied for Permanent Residency on June 16th, 2017 under CEC CATEGORY and received AOR JUNE 16, 2017. I submitted all my payrolls from May 31,2016 to June 15, 2017 with my application. No updates on my profile yet. It is just now i am reading all these posts here and realising my error. I made an honest mistake as i didnt consult any lawyer or anybody else. I am still working with the same company as a pharmacist and can provide all proofs for my employment. I am just worried what can i do next? Is there a way i can accept my mistake and withdraw my file and reapply? Or to send a letter of explanation anyhow?

The IRCC website calculates by months and years, so this creates an issue. Most likely it should not impact you, but it is an applicant's responsibility to ensure that they have met the minimum eligibility requirements. Track your application and see if you have passed eligibility, that is where this will be checked.

Hello legalfalcon, my current passport is brand new and has no stamps, all of them are in older ones and I have 4 of them. Should i scan all pages of all of them and submit, post ITA?

Include your current PP and the immediate previous one. No need to add all others as you will have all travel details in the travel history.

Yes and notes are from May 25 after that no further updates. They are not counting my spouse's and my work exp. nothing has been mentioned tgat what are the red glags for. If i had any clue I would have raised CSE. Any thoughts?

You should get another set of GCMS notes and see if the review has been done. If there is no change, then you should immediately raise CSE.

I would like to add to it a little bit if you dont mind. I have stamps from a country where i lived before turning 18 in a passport that expired 15 years ago. Should i include visa stamps when i was a minor as well?

No need. Anything below 18 is not asker or relevant.

What if someone uploads the biographical data page of the current valid passport, which contains the number of the old passport. Along with all visa stamps in the current as well as expired passports. I am asking because one of my friends has submitted his application like this.

Giving additional documents is not a problem. You can submit as many as you want, whether they help or not, is a different issue.

Myself: Principle Applicant:-

1. Passport/Travel Document: Please provide a copy of a passport or travel document that is valid for at least 6 months. Please provide a copy of your previous and most recent passports - Though I had uploaded my earlier passport and current passport during application submission
2. Client Information: Please provide a copy of your ECA report. - This also I had uploaded earlier
3. Birth registration/certificate: Please provide a copy of your birth registration/certificate. - This is most tricky! I do not have birth certificate. In India, 10th marksheet is considered to be the proof of age.
Please suggest what can be done in this situation. And why would they be asking for birth certificate.

Dependent Applicant-

1. Birth registration/certificate: Please provide a copy of your birth registration/certificate. - Same situation here. Don't have birth certificate. Please suggest an alternative solution
2. Passport/Travel Document: Please provide a copy of a passport or travel document that is valid for at least 6 months. - Though I had uploaded my husband's earlier passport and current passport during application submission
3. Client Information: Please provide a copy of your ECA report. - This also we had uploaded earlier

Anyway, passport and ECA I will upload again. However, please help what can I do for birth certificate. Just have 7 days in hands.

If you have requested for an extension, it will be provided. They usually take 1-2 weeks to respond back, but this is not at all an issue.
