Finally someone replied to my e-mail from the VO. I got this:

Dear xxxx,
This application is under review for background verifications. These can be lengthy and we are not in a position to provide a timeframe. Please rest assured that we will contact you as soon as the background verifications are completed.

Nothing I didn't really know. Well, at least they are honest in saying it could take forever.....

have you ordered new gcms notes. this might nlt be related to ss as hou are already undergoing verification (work, funds e.t.c) and the email might be reffering to that.

Hey Guys,

I submitted my application on Dec 10, 2016 - FSW Inland. Got a Procedural Fairness Letter, early June. Its been almost 8 months of waiting in total, including 2 months after submitting my reply. I am so frustrated. I don't know how much longer will it take.

same for many of us. 8 and half months since AOR. Last reply from CIC said cant say about processing time. Extremely frustrated and disappointed with the system

The system has very little transparency and the call agents always sound so rude ! Hope something happens soon for us !

I submitted a document as well on 26th may, visa officer touched my file on 5th June, and when MP's assistant called CIC, they told visa officer has 3 months to review it, I called 3 times after that, GCMS notes, it's in que for review as of today, he hasn't touched my file since 5th June and he has toll Sept 4 to touch it I guess he is gonna wait for last day, AOR 11Dec, BC PNP Inland

Hi .. I just received my GCMS notes and the latest status is as below. By when I can expect the Security to be finished?

Eligibility: Passed
Security:
Criminality: Passed
Medical: Passed

Security screening page is blank with s.15(1) written on top. So I am not able to identify at what stage of Security screening I am at.

Its 8 months and 8 days now officially after AOR.
