So, is there a way to get a precise info about that?
And what is the IP2, I understand it is an abbreviation for "In Progress 2" but am in in that stage?
If yes, how long -in your opinion- should I keep waiting prior sending CIC an email to check the status?

AOR: April 2nd
Medical Passed: 26th of July
Background Check: Not Applicable

You are not in IP2. You are in NA. Looking at your timeline, very unlikely you are in Ottawa. You were most likely at CIO and probably shipped to a local visa office or London based on load distribution.

If you mail in the above format, you will know if you are in CIO or a local visa office.

If you need detailed info, the only way is to order notes. I think your first step is to mail Ottawa and find out the visa office and current status. Based on their reply, we can give you further info coz right now it's all speculation purely based on your timeline.

Hey guys,

I have booked my British Airways flight from New Delhi to Toronto via London Heathrow. There is a stop over of about 100 minutes at LHR. Does anyone have experience of traveling via this route? If yes, could you please let me know if I would need a transit visa to be able to travel via London.

Thanks.

I traveled to US via this route. Bombay - Heathrow - Denver. If your onward flight is from LHR, you don't need a transit visa.

Thanks for the clarification @vishalphonsa. I truly appreciate your input in this regard. Did you have to change terminal at Heathrow to board the onward flight or did you board the flight from the same terminal where you landed? My flight details indicate that I would be landing at Terminal 3 and would need to board the connecting flight from Terminal 5. I hope this action can be performed without the need of transit visa.

I'm in the same boat as you, send an email to CIC they might have some information about you'r application. or they will give you a generic response, either way can't hurt. there are a ton of people with AOR's in the beginning of April with the same status as you so don't worry about it too much.

You don't need a transit visa for connecting flights.
