If your work experience i outside Canada, you can claim it even if it was while you were studying.

As regards the association, you should mention it.
Thank you. And with simultaneous studies, should I show my work experience as full time or part time since the start of studies. My reference letter says full time 40Hrs/week.

If your loan is from the same bank where your PoF is, only then you need to disclose the loan, or else just leave it. Even when you do disclose, it will not impact your PoF in anyway.
Thanks much for your much valued response. What is the exact reason for asking applicants to declare their liabilities alone instead of both assets and liabilities? The fund in my account is about 3 times the minimum requirement for a family of 5, and have been maintained stably without issues in the last 6 months, but I have a personal loan taken to buy a house (due to the relatively low prevailing interest rate). The outstanding balance I have on my loan is slightly above the fund in my account, however, I do have several other assets, including a house, stocks, landed assets and end of service benefit from employment. Now that I have given a full detail of my situation, do you advise I do anything differently or should I still not be worried. Appreciate your feedback once more.

When you started the job.
Hi @legalfalcon,
So even it says in APR that "this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description", I still mention the date I started my 1st job even though it's earlier than graduation date on degree? I just want to make sure. Thank you a lot

Hi Legalfalcon,
When i started on personal activity. Few details were filled in like education and work exp. Since it says last 10 yrs details are required, is it ok to delete older entries in personal activities which includes education and few other..

Thanks in advance

Hi legalfalcon,
Can I please ask what's the difference between:
The documents you provided has been reviewed.. and
The documents you provided has been uploaded.
Also, how long does it take from there to PPR?
Thanks

Thank you so much, it's a little over a thousand over now. so i will submit. Thank you again as always.
If you have submitted your application, your application is locked no need to worry. If you are yet to submit, your need to make sure that on the say you submit, you are above the limit.

@legalfalcon

Thanks for replying. As you mentioned I can get my gcms notes without an agent. Would i be able to create an account and link it to my existing account without my agent being able to track and not implicating my application as well?

Hi @legalfalcon , since today is Aug 8th and its Civic Holiday in Canada, I just wanted to know whether CIC would be working today or not. Had heard that employees might go off on long vacation or similar though its not a government holiday. Just wanted your thoughts on the same. Couple of us are anxiously waiting for the coveted Golden Email, hence the query. Thank you.

If your work experience is outside Canada, you can claim points for it, both, full time and part time depending on what you did. 30 hours plus a week is considered full time.

IF you read the immigration law, the PoF does not appear in the Immigration Act. PoF is an additional condition added but IRCC to ensure that when a new immigrant lands in Canada, he / she is bale to sustain for sometime until they can find a job etc. IRCC is only concerned about an applicant having fund readily available, which should not be borrowed, and not in assets which cannot be readily converted onto cash.

As regards the liabilities, reasonable liabilities like a car loan, a house loan, everyone has it. They will evaluate the extent of your liabilities against your salary and the PoF to evaluate that it is not to excessive. If you did not declare, nothing to worry.

If you were given a job in that NOC, and as I mentioned above that the NOC does not mean that you have the minimum qualifications, you can either give your date of graduation or the date of you joining the job. It does not matter either way.

Yes, you can delete anything which is over 10 years old.

The documents you provided has been reviewed.. and This is when IRCC has reviewed the documents you submitted, i.e. someone has gone through them and taken action.
The documents you provided has been uploaded. This is when the document has beed added to your file based one where it should go.

I don't believe in speculation or guess work. Each application is different and is processed based on individual circumstances. You should be more concerned about what stage your application is at. Unfortunately MyCIC status message do not depict the exact stage and thus are not an accurate way of predicting where your application is.

To read on what all stages an application goes through, you can read my post - https://www.getgcms.com/blog/express-entry-application-processed/

If you want to know what stage your application is at you should consider ordering GCMS notes. You can order them here - https://www.getgcms.com

Thanks

You should not try doing that, since it need log in credential of other other account. Instead, you should just get your application number, and order GCMS at regular intervals. Even if you make an account and link it, the MY CIC updates do not help much.

The Civic Holiday is celebrated on the first Monday of August and it's a public holiday in some provinces and territories. The civic holiday is not a statutory holiday. It is known by many names in different provinces and municipalities.

IRCC will be working tomorrow.
