Thanks once again. I agree with your comment. In the Child's signature area, do we need to keep blank or write 'NA' after printing?

I left child signature blank as again it says Children 14 years of age and above. Also just make sure you sign using black ink that is important as it is specifically mentioned.

12 and 10A in my minor application I left it blank... As the application guide says if applicable and it is for children 14 and above. I believe it is safe to leave it blank if your child is under 14 as that field of the form is for Children 14 and above. If you select anything here it might cause a confusion and they might have to go back and see the DOB. That's my point of view. I left mine blank. nothing handwritten on my form except the signature.
Good day Guys
If my kids are below 14 and definitely I will leave 10A blank .....Then How about 10B and 10C ...deaf and mental disorder ....shall I leave them blank since the question is related to 10 A or shall I put YES or NO .....please help

Yes you will have to answer the remaing questions for 10B and 10C either yes or no based on your child. Only question 10A is if applicable rest u need to answer.

1. In 6 (G)-address since you became PR: We landed in 2013 for 3 weeks. Then we were out of Canada for a month and half and came back permanently. Do I need to give address when I was out of Canada for a month and half? In another occasion I was on vacation for a month. Do I need to give that address too? Yes all the address

2. In 9 (F): I am not using LINC as proof of english. Can I click 'NO'? Yes you can click no. In my case I left mine blank. As in 7.A . I selected 1st option. They scan these application form in the readable scanners like the ones they have for Customs at the Toronto Airport, and if you have answered Linc over there their system will mark that you need to answer 9(F). But if you selected the first or the second option it will not raise a flag...

3. Do I need to click 'Yes' for 'use of representative' of my wife and sons (below 14 years) if I want to handle their application meaning if I need to talk to citizenship office after application? If you are handling your wife and sons case you do not have to click Yes. But if its a legal representative who has the registration with them... then you click Yes. For your SON you can speak with them. But they will not disclose you any of your wife's information.

my kids are under 14 years old and 10 A is not applicable to them. 10 B and 10 C are related to 10 A. IF I left 10A blank do I need to answer 10 B and 10c?

FYI: "Intent to reside" has already been repealed upon C-6 Royal Assent on June 19, 2017
I knew this, but that does not make the poster's statement correct, although I agree it is now irrelevant. The point was that making erroneous statements may confuse more than help.

Hello Ameer,
It is mentioned under the box that confused you that it is all about a consent you should provide to IRCC to access information they have been already collected about people who did LINC between 2008 - 2012.
My wife did LINC in 2014, so in my case it is not applicable, so after I printed her application, I hand wrote "NA" beside this box. I checked only "Evidence of achieving CLB/NCLC4 in a government-funded language training program" option and attached her certificate with the application.

Hope this help,

my kids are under 14 years old and 10 A is not applicable to them. 10 B and 10 C are related to 10 A. IF I left 10A blank do I need to answer 10 B and 10c?

The way i did mine is I left 10 A blank, but I answered 10 B and 10 C. As these are not applicable due to minors age being under 14, it is fine to either answer them or leave it blank. I was suggested by the CIC agent with whom I had a call to ask if I manually write not applicable for 10A, 10B and 10C, I was told by her to leave 10A blank, and answer 10B and 10C based on child requirements. As the child age is under 14, immigration officer will anyways will be skipping these fields... So I did it accordingly.

Good... Everytime you call a different agent will give a different answer. Do as the agent said... As it is this field is not applicable if they are below 14.

I have another question related to language test. I have CLB results of 7 but it's bit old I had it since October 2012. Can I submit that certificate which I received it in October 2012? Does this certficate (score card) expire?

One very last question(s) please:

Q9.C - Quebec's Permanent List of Electors: should I leave it blank or click "NO"? I don't reside in Quebec.

Q9. F- Language instructions for newcomers to Canada - LINC:
Should I leave it blank or click "NO"?
I am not using LINC.
Thanks.
