Yeah, I also heard the same about applicants with no travel history. This takes less time for BGC agencies as the applicant has never visited any country . @KiranK : BTW You still working or left the job.
Hopefully it is true! we ll be lucky then i guess.
Left the job, As soon as I got my ITA;), hope for the best now:)

The reason I asked you was because I vaguely remember that there is a member on the forum who resigned and is very active on the forum and checks immitracker like 100 times a day. I guess there was a post by you telling the members what I just said.

BTW , you have been an inspiration for me and I resigned last week. My notice period is 3 months (I know this S***S)

Hey people, i submitted my application on 9th May(AOR). I just noticed today that when i viewed my submitted application it shows "work history" as "in progress" and not transmitted. All other tabs of the application such as personal histor, representative etc show transmitted. This is strange.! I obviously couldnot make any changes after AOR although i submitted an employment doc by cse post AOR.

Anyone knows why is it appearing like this?
Bump

I have heavy travel history with visits to US, UK, Europe, South East Asia and lived in 3 countries in last 10 years. I guess my PPR is going to be a while then!

Does anyone know if high travel history = Delays? Does everyone go through intense security? I read somewhere on the forum that only if they feel its a red flag does it go through deeper security check. I haven't visited any controversial countries. Not served in government and military. I'm just someone who likes travelling and going on normal holidays! However I have given all PPCs and passed R10 so my criminality has passed. I hope security doesn't take too long!

Don't worry, I don't think it will be such a huge difference to as in cause a serious delay, at maximum it will be just few days (even if it does happen).
As long as the travel isn't to any controversial country's, it shouldn't be an issue, there are many applicants with heavy travels who are getting PPR in normal time periods. Let's wait for experts here.
P.S- Also the countries you mentioned are frequent holiday/tourist destinations so as long as all PCCs etc in order, you will be fine, IMO.

Hey @astralsource we missed you in so many discussions here:). Hope you had a nice weekend!

Yup, most Dubai folks have heavy travel history. And everyone seems to be passing in and around 100 days. Yes, I have only travelled to the usual spots. Nothing controversial. Lets wait and see! I am on day 76! And I have passed R10 so my PCC is all fine.

I saw someone said High travel history without proper reasons is a red flag to IRCC. I have seen seniors getting PPR without much delays. In fact, I have like 130 trips in the last 10 years, mostly for business travels in Asia. I wouldn't worry about too much. Let IRCC do their job.

Of course we don't want them to induce any delays on our case so because we are the ones being checked.

However, put it this way, I do hope they check harder to prevent any terrorists from going to Canada, which is a place I will live in.

Haha! still lurking the tracker on the refusals, just in case. Been in the nature, had a great time, but if I didnt turn NA it wouldnt be so pleasant!! ;) I agree @johnsyk we are pretty safe from this stage on and now its just a matter of time for us depending on the travel history and other work affiliations. If you have an extensive travel list your PR shouldnt be prolonged, it will be in normal timeframe, it just means that if you had none travel history your PR might come sooner than others. We are still in the average category I think -100 days or so to PPR. Only thing that can delay it and cause more detailed check is government/law enforcement jobs in the past.
