We're finding that watching Netflix shows that we've already seen in English, with both French dubbing and subtitles, is helping acclimate us. It also opened us up to watching a show originally in Russian, dubbed in Spanish with English subtitles, lol.

We were curious about a show called The Sniffer. It's from the Ukraine and in Russian. We turned on the English subtitles but there was no English dubbing. Since I know some Spanish, I decided that I might as well listen to that as Russian, lol.

Btw, if you do Netflix with subtitles, the most useful thing we learned is that you can put a solid color box around the subtitles through a setting in the account section. It makes a huge difference in what you can see.
