Usually people who aren't confident about getting all their paperwork together within the 3 month time-frame decline their ITAs. So it's good practice to keep most of your documents ready while you're waiting for ITA.

Ohhh, that's true, I can imagine how tedious it can become especially if you are currently working (like me but i took today off). However my files may be a bit slimmer than most given that i've only been in one other country (for more than 6 months) and had two jobs.. Well the pcc and meds are out of my control but I already delivered pcc. If I do get ITA, I will accept it. If my pcc is still not ready, i'll just upload a letter of explanation requesting extension with proof and leave it at that. But for others, with more experience and even children/spouses and traveling, I can see where bottlenecks can arise in that 3 month timeline..

Trying to study french while waiting for the draw, verb conjugation is hell.
Its been quite a while i read or saw or heard that word conjugation. Actually since i finished my level 4. My teacher gave us an easy idea for that, Le Conjugueur app. Its magic lol

I'm sure it is! But I'm dreading the pronunciation more ;)
We did 2 week intense study in February with someone who tried very hard to work on pronunciation. My husband does very well in that, but doesn't remember the conjugations as well as I do. I am not good at pronunciation, but do ok with grammar and vocabulary. If we could take TEF together, we'd be happy, lol.

I tried watching French films... But every time I learned something else except French ;) :p

I must admit its a very romantic language :D
We're finding that watching Netflix shows that we've already seen in English, with both French dubbing and subtitles, is helping acclimate us. It also opened us up to watching a show originally in Russian, dubbed in Spanish with English subtitles, lol.

That what I am doing but it still painful when I see the results:(

I really appreciate that all of you altruistically help each other!! Thank you for the explanation!

I am familiar with scoring system in EE and getting max points for age, education, work experience back home, +15 points for education in Canada, for Canadian working experience 0 (only 6 months till now) but English is my weakness!!
Took CELPIP 2nd time on 17th of June. Patiently waiting for my results with fingers crossed!
All the Best for your results. :)

On a trip to Paris to celebrate our anniversary, my spouse and I tried very hard to communicate with the locals in their own language.

We got huge smiles every time :) and the locals switched to English to help us out :)
