congratulations. i have similar situation DM on April 4 , I got GMC it show pr number, I called last friday CIC and they said I got the pr but I need wait til receive PPR email. I sent enquiry on cic web for time longer than normal. I think maybe is the same situation like you. unbelivable more than 17 months. I hope figure out my process soon. good luck everybody

Hi Carls, may be you should check if you are from a visa exempt country. Citizens of such countries dont usually get PPR. They just go with the letter of confirmation of PR fot border crossing. My manager is a Singapore citizen, he never got a PPR. Just went with confirmation of PR. I hope this could help

Usually people who doesn't require a visa to visit Canada may not likely get a PPR. But do check with cic, Im just telling what I know

Return tracker just activated and the passport is already out for delivery. Oh Canada post why do you still exist?

My counterfoil was generated on June 16th. I am waiting for return tracking number activation.
Anyway, you will become as Canadian in next Three years; you should start loving Canada Post and its services

Would you be able to tell me that how long after the "Decision Made" or BG changing to "In Process" you got the PPR?

I am March 3 applicant, got Decision made and BG changed to In process yesterday...so just wondering that when can I expect the PPR?

I am Jan 11th 2016 applicant.
My BG changed to In Progress on April 17th 2017.
I received PPR on June 07th 2017 when my BG in CIC was In Progress. On ECAS decision was made. My status in CIC was changed to Approved after my passport got stamped.
I got my PPR due to my local MP called IRCC twice regarding my file. Still early Jan applicants are waiting for PPR due to some reason.
You can’t consider Jan applicants timeline.
