Is this a new way of saying your BG check started, IP1?
 
To all who are waiting for any update in their profiles,

Please keep an eye on your MyCIC log in profile, instead of waiting to receive an email notification.

I got an update in my log in account of MyCIC, but haven't received any email notification yet. I guess many people also have this type of things in their profiles.

I think so, since this is the first time we get "In progress" in BG field. I don't know for sure, but this might be IP1.

Definitely it is. Before it was "Next step is to.." This is a good sign and considering the trend it should turn quickly to NA! Keep your eye on your profile, as u said CIC doesnt like e-mails very much!

@johnsyk had it changed after 12 hours lol. He passed Medical and BG changed and then to NA again the next day. We concluded they start R10 before they ever change the status for BG check probably. But for some it changes after a month to NA so everything is possible. I think u should pass R10 very fast too!

Many ppl are getting this new message now after clearing medicals including me. For some it changed to NA just in a couple of days, for some others it still hasn't changed even after 10 days. So this stage is a variable unlike the medicals which was more or less same for everyone.

Right... No changes for me after med passed on Jun 8.

I'm also waiting for their PCC request letter. (I'm from a place where upfront PCC is not allowed without a request letter from CIC)

Yes this is IP1. And As @astralsource mentioned on here, mine changed to NA in 12 hours. The good news is that a lot of people seem to getting PPR in 90 to 100 days on the tracker for FSWO. Loads of greens turning up there for people who got AOR in March. So I hope April AOR is a month to 45 days away from PPR!

Let's hope for the best.
May the upcoming Aug and Sept bring a ppr rain for April aor applicants.
 
I feel end of July to start of Sept will be our PPR period for us April folks!
