Why do you guys don't accept provinance nominations? Is it because of the restrictions to live in it for a few years?

1.Now with cut off dropping to 400 levels the scenario has changed....last year when it didn't seem to go below 475 or till about when it dipped below 450 it seemed only option for those in 400-420 etc...many are just around 400..now PNP may not be necessary as before
2.if you have a chance of ITA without PNP then why bother with additional documentation...once you accept nomination you have to pay $1500 for OINP
3. with the delay in securing the nomination from time of submission of application till nomination receipt can be avoided with direct ITA
4.If the scores start climbing or there are some changes affecting the scores negatively ,then nomination will become attractive again

Hello guys,

First time I write in this forum, but I've been following you I'm standing at 403 points. To be realistic I don't think the draw will ever come down that low.I think I fulfill the eligibility criteria of Ontario's streams, however I have not received a Notification of Interest. Why is that?

Any reply from you would be very helpful

my query may seem a bit silly. I'm in the EE pool, how do I opt for provincial nominee program? I did not see an option for it while filling out the EE profile.

do I have to go to the province's website and register?

they look through the EE pool and send notification of interest to ppl matching to their selection criteria...
Every province has an occupation list and score criteria...also quotas among those occupations...
if your profile falls into the category they are looking for,you will get an NOI and you can accept or decline it...once you accept then you have to go through the documentation and after assessment,they will update their nomination of your profile to CIC and it will reflect in ur account.
You'll be notified when they pick you...
it seems Ontario is sending NOI to fresh profiles above CRS 400 and they keep sending it on Fridays as I understand from this forum

They had a notice up at the login page about site maintenance and certain instability which they have finally taken down.

Fingers crossed for a draw tomorrow. Hopefully a back to back draw so the th cutoff score pulls down for many of.you great folks that need it for an ITA!!!

like all Wednesday, today also i am excited about draw today, i hope it happens today so that 3k-4k ppl from pool will be removed, however, today my excitement is lil diluted or diverted due to semi final of Champion trophy Pak v/s Eng

my calculation and prediction for today's draw


601-1200- 200
451-600- 1040
441-450- 350
431-440 472
421-430 155
411-420 744
401-410 4345

so if we count all above CRS 410 it comes to 2961
if we assume CIC will invite 3600 candidates then

3600-2961= 639 more candidates required
after 6 june changes just assume 2% of the candidates able to increase the score
so total number of candidates in the pool = 48427
hence 2% of 48427 =968
out of 968 candidates not all will be able to cross CRS 410 still we assume around 50% candidates will have CRS more than 410
so 484 candidates will be added above CRS 410 +
hence 2961+484=3445
to get 3600 CIC still need 3600-3445= 155 more candidates
so score has to touch CRS 410

i am assuming if there will be draw today CRS cut off will be 410 and candidates with oldest profile in the pool with CRS 410 will get invitation.
again these are my assumptions i might be wrong. i hope i wont be.

Does the length of stay in the express entry pool make a difference for you selection??..I applied yesterday night with a score of 423..would that make a difference in today's draw if that happens?

Your story inspires me to take up IELTS again .. may i request if you can pass me the documents to prepare for IELTS.
My last attempt was 7.5 in all of them except writing - 6. I badly need to boost my CRS for which i need IELTS scores.Waiting for your response.

Any idea about the WES check evaluation, I have done MBA regular from Amity University passout 2013.

Amity's name is still not there in the list for evaluation.

Please help me if anybody from amity has done the MBA regular and went for WES evaluation recently.

I did my ECA with ICAS.. Even my college wasn't listed on their website..

however the rule to get your MBA assessed is if your MBA program was AICTE approved at the time of your MBA admission.. then ask your college to send the letter they have received from AICTE about MBA program approval for the year, to WES...

Do let WES know that your MBA program was AICTE approved

But foremost, confirm with your college that your MBA program was AICTE approved at the time of your admission..& then do let WES know..

So I had given up all the hopes , but this forum had bring back the motivation, so thinking of giving ielts another try

Yeah buddy! Sorry about the 0.5 miss. I know lot of people are having the same problem, mine is even larger in terms of IELTS. But once i did further research and decided to join this community and spend sometime reading, i now know the value of this forum. Just few months ago i had no idea what CLB was or what factor it can play in terms of CRS. You should definitely re-take IELTS exam as you are so close to getting CLB 9. I am going to wait until the end of July and only then if the CRS won't drop below my score, i'll too take the IELTS.
