We got PPR today!

Congratulations to you Kat!!! I am very happy for you and your husband!!
When do you guys plan to land? If you don't mind me asking? As I read on the forum recently that they sent PPR with a deadline to it for landing... So I am just curious...

It's been since march we have been waiting for an update, yet we have nothing.

Application status We received your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Review of eligibility We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Review of medical results You passed the medical exam.
Review of additional documents We need additional documents to process your application. Check your messages below for details.
-- For this option we already sent the requested documents by mail. But it was never updated.
Interview You do not need an interview. We will send you a message if this changes.
Background check Your application is in progress. The next step is to conduct a background check.
Final decision Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

We have something similar. We sent the documents back in February... Received the notes on our case today - says documents were received but when we log in online it says the exact same thing about needing additional documents.

We're landing late July. We had already bought our tickets as we were going to go on an eta, but them we got the PPR!
I believe the deadline is usually based on the expiration of your medicals or passport (whichever comes first).

I am sad to hear that. Maybe giving them a call would help you figure out more about what is going on, have you tried that yet?

Yeah I have, but they told me to ask my visa office. I've filled out a webform but they take forever to reply

Thanks. For additional documents, they didn't ask for any other than those i sent with the application.

GCKEY says The additional documents you provided are being reviewed.

I think we cannot completely trust GCKEY status now. It is acting wierd.

Hi everyone, I got some questions about my current situation, it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could share experience here.

My wife is the sponsor, she is living in Canada with my daughters, and I'm the primary applicant. We submitted the application in Nov-2016. They asked for FBI clearance in March.

In March, since we didn't know when will the application be approved, I planned to visit my wife and daughters in Canada during summer holiday (July) and we planned (bought plane ticket & booked hotel) a family vacation to the US

In the beginning of April, I provided the FBI Clearance. With a big surprise, our application status changed to "Decision Made" and I got my COPR by the end of May.

Having the COPR was so great and exciting after long wait… after I calm down and re-access my situation, it will be quite awkward.

Next month, I will travel to Canada with my passport (only eTA required for my country), stayed there for a few days. As planned in last March, I will take my wife and daughters to the US for around a week, then go back to Canada together. I will stay in Canada for a few more days before going back to my country at the end of July.

My question is that since my passport is used to apply for permanent residency and COPR has issued, can I still travel as planned above without doing landing process at all?

Anyone has similar situation?

I want to share the incredible news with you! I have received my COPR yesterday evening... I am incredibly thankful and we are incredibly happy that the wait is over as we were really in the dark this whole time... To me everything changed in a minute as just a half a month ago my medical showed passed... So I can't really share much about my timeline as we were pretty much in the dark the whole time and it all changed really fast and I didn't even noticed when my e-cas changed...

Anyway I want to wish you all good luck in this new begging close to your loved one! And for those of you who didn't receive any news yet may it come soon!
