All employment reference letters have to be dated. This is what ascertains as to when they were issued. Without a date, the reference letter will create unnecessary red flags, which will lead to more probing and delaying the processing of your file.
Thanks for the prompt response!

Is it ok for the date to be computer printed or should it be handwritten by person who signed it?

Most letters will have a printed date, a standard in formal letters. But if it is not, you can as the person signing it to hand write it under the signature.

Dear legalfalcon,

Need some of your expert guidance please.

If you amend EE profile after receiving Ontario noi. (CRS points unaffected) (date modification)

will this affect your noi or pnp application?

Can you still accept noi and apply for pnp?

Do you need to possibly explain/disclose this anywhere in the application for pnp or after ita for pr?

timeline:
EE profile created
Ontario noi received
EE profile date change ( crs points unaffected)
Accept noi?

Thanks

Hye @legalfalcon
I was just going to submit my documents as i recently got the invitation. I have a question buddy if you can help me out it would be great help for me

I started in the company from April 4,2016 as Data Entry Clerk
but after month that is on May2,2016 the company promoted me as Administrative Officer. and till Aug 1 was paid 11.5 per hour for 80 hours a week. Then my pay was revised and i got $14 per hour from then on.

so my question is that in my T4 form my income is $19613 for year 2016.
but at this time i am getting 16$ per hour which makes my annual salary as $32448.

so will cic raise a question regarding this thing that there is a big difference in the annual salary and income for year 2016,

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in Advance

The answer would depend on what you are trying to change or amend? From your question I don't get what is it that you are amending.

Nothing to worry. EE is not dependent on how much you make, but whether the points you are claiming, you can prove them. Salaries and incomes fluctuate for many people. Some applicant may start his own business and will see a sharp increase in income, but IRCC has nothing to do with that as long as you can adequately show that you were working for the company in the capacity you claimed for.

Dear legalfalcon,

my case is bit complicated. My first job was from April 10 to May 25 2015, I started my second job from September 2015. Now the system has given me credit 2 years work experience. If I get ita this month and submit E-apr at the end of this month. Can I claim 2 years work experience? If not, can I accept ITA and wait to July to submit E-apr?thx

Hi Falcon, please advice. Thankx

Hi Falcon

I have 14 years work experience in the same company in Dubai. However I joined at an entry level position and now i am Director and head of the department. There were atleast 5 different designations with 3 different NOC codes, that changed in the last 14 years mainly due to promotion.
For my employment reference letter, do I need letters for all these 5 potions or just 1 for my current position.
Can I present my promotion letters for the previous 4 positions.
TIA

As per CIC:

Your work experience must be:

  • in the same type of job as your primary NOC
  • within the last 10 years
  • paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships don’t count)
  • at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC)
  • at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous:
    • full-time at 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • equal amount in part-time: 15 hours/week for 24 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
    • full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
You must show that you did the duties set out in the lead statement of the occupational description in the NOC, including all the essential duties and most of the main duties listed.

If you cannot show that your work experience meets the description in the NOC, you are not eligible under this program.

As per your information you do not meet the 2 year requirement. As per CIC, you have to have enough points on the day you received the invitation, not after. So if you get enough points that without the 1 year of work experience you are over the ITA score, you can apply, if not, then you will have to decline and wait.

Hi Falcon, please advice. Thankx
The maximum points you can get is for 3 years of work experience. So you can either have a combined NOC for all your work experience, or you can just have it for the last 5 and have the remaining work history in your personal history. You can only claim points for the work done in the last 10 years, anything beyond that is not required.

Hope this helps!

Hey Legalfalcon,

Need your help and guidance. I have submitted my application on June 4. My son's birth certificate was in Hindi and was translated in English as per the requirement. I provided the following during the application stage.

1. Photocopy of birth certificate stamped by Translator company
2. English Translation (Notarized)
3. Affidavit of translator (Notarized)
4. Certified true copy of birth certificate

I didnt provide the copy of the original birth certificate. It was an complete oversight and honest mistake on our part.

I raised the case specific inquiry on June 8 and gave an LOE with copy of the original birth certificate. I requested them to add this to application along with those four provided with the application.

Please help me with the following information -

1. What are your views on CSE and its success?
2. What are your views on my case? Will it be successful?
3. Anything more that I can do? Phone/email or something different?
4. Since I only provided the missing document to be added with the application, is that a right step? or should I provide the complete set (five documents) again through CSE?

Please guide.

I enquired about your case, and they have sent out an email to find the status of your notes. As soon as they hear back they will promptly let you know. You are at liberty to send en email, but it will merely create duplicity. I would advise you to at least wait until 45 days are over.
Hi legalfalcon,

Thanks I received my notes today. I really appreciate the support given by team :)
highlights :-
1. Eligibility (11.2 A, r75,r76 and funds) - recommend to passed
2. Security - not started
3. criminality and medical passed.
Primary office CPCO , next due date 4june.
We have short single visits to UAE (1 week) and US( 2months). i can see under info sharing with US, NRT is mentioned for both of us. Is that means, security results are available ( no reportable trace) and it's just a matter of officer's final review ?
Under groups- i can see a group number ,type as batch notes and status is in progress. what does it stand for ? i think it represents the batch in which my file is added for officer's review.

Further I found 2 errors in Case analyst's review.:-
1. Calculation of FSW points - note shows 70, where as my points are 75. he missed to add point for Adaptability ( spouse ielts score - 5points). spouse is accompanying, mentioned in review. Do i need to raise CSE eventhough 70 is above threshold ?
2. Annuall salary of my first company- actually i hd attached offer letter along with refer letter as it does not have salary details. Now in offer letter, yearly compensation is divided into 2 parts ( paragraphs) - basic pay and allowance. Analyst added only basic pay in his review, which further creates a big diff in salary comparison to 2nd company ( mentioned as basic+allowance). Should i raise a CSE or officer will have a look at offer letter to understand the Diff?

other than CSE, is there any fast way to reach out officer to explain these errors before he starts final review ?
