In background information from, we need to fill addresses for all places where we have lived. In my case some of the places were rented where I lived and landlord was not living there. Some new tenents may be living there. So question is, if they go and verify with new tenent about me than they might not be knowing about me. Do they send someone to these address physically to verify. Please suggest.

I don't think they even do that. Just provide them with the information where you lived
and let them handle the rest.

I doubt most people would have any idea who used to live in their house. My guess is that the address history allows them to search various databases for the purpose of background checks.

I changed my address in Canada 10 times..and all should be mentioned?

Yes. Even if you moved a gazillion times. CIC wants to know every place you lived at in the past 10 years.

And by lived I mean physically lived, not hotel rooms you spend a night, or a friends place you crashed.

If it asks for all addresses over past 10 years then list it. It doesn't say "list what you remember". I've moved 15 times in 10 years: you just need to work it out. I wrote everything down about the last 10 years: my jobs, my addresses etc then I used internet and google earth to remember the parts of addresses I previously couldn't.
Not remembering isn't an excuse

Amen brother! How can one forget where one lived anyway? Haha

Ha. I have a good memory (I think) but recalling ten different addresses - and especially the date ranges - was hard. It's a good habit to keep a list of past addresses handy.

Sure, dates are tough, but you don't forget where you used to live.
And dates, I sometimes guessed as good as possible, since I haven't kept bills or such things,
to actually make out the day I moved in and out.

Yes, you need to list them all. I had to sit down and really think about all the places I have lived since I turned 18. That was over 30 years ago ??? Turned out that I moved on average once per year, so I had a separate sheet and had all 30-odd addresses listed. Took a while, but it's necessary.
