We need not attach bank statements along with Schedule 4. However, we do submit bank statements at the time of submitting eAPR. If you are applying under PNP category for Federal PR, you do need to maintain minimum funds as per http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp depending on the number of family members.

The only time that one does not need to provide proof of funds is when the applicant is applying under CEC category or is an FSWC or the FSTC applicant who is currently authorized to work in Canada and has a qualifying offer of arranged employment from an employer in Canada.
yea when i applied for my eapr at that time i showed the specified funds and my bank account and bank statements, I'm just talking about later in the process, if they just ask you to submit scedule 4, do you mention the required specified funds?

What the heck are they investigating so long! It is bullying, nothing more! They are able check all information even at the border control and find out EVERY SINGLE DETAIL about you. Besides, all of us have received/extended more than one time our permits/visas before and after entering Canada, which means CIC knows damn good every relevant data about our past 10 years and more. I repeat again: there is nothing wrong to conduct reasonable security screening before providing people permanent resident status in Canada, no doubt, BUT there has to be a limit of processing time of this screening process. This process what we have to face is 1) Non-transparent, 2) takes too long, 3) irrational if not schizophrenic (considering we are in Canada and have had background checks already at least a couple of times), 4) doesn't contribute to Canadian security at all, 5) alienating already established and adapted immigrants and their families from Canada, 6) creates unreasonable extra-costs for Canadian taxpayers (due to invested financial sources into personnel and procedures), 7) jeopardize the stability of inland-applicants' and their children's life, 8) creates many human tragedies because people lost their jobs etc. This is nothing but annoying. Again, I repeat, in today's level of technology a reasonably good security screening can be conducted within hours. They find everything about you even in minutes.
---
What we can do is that 1) we can write a generic letter explaining what we are facing and send it to the immigration minister, 2) we can contact a journalist who can make a story about this problem and publish it in a daily newspaper / on internet, 3) we can contact immigration minister, CIC, parliament, Trudeau etc. and provide them information about our unique case. I think this is way important to move something because this black-box bureaucracy is a joke and according to the high standards of Canada in-acceptable for many people here in this country. People should know what is going on in the immigration process. Many Canadians think Canada lets everyone easily into Canada when they criticize Trump's US. This is an important issue, guys. We should do something. I am tired of waiting!

So if you are currently living in Canada and have a valid job offer (which I believe you do since you are PNP nominated) you don't need to show any funds. Not only for those applying under CEC but also for PNP stream then...

I had a job when applied to OINP back in nove 2015 but my PGWP expired in june/2016 so cant work since then and have visitors permit. How does it affect me? OINP said 90 days and took 13 months not my fault. Also when issuing nomination they didnt even ask me about my status and job coz they issued nomknation in dece 2016 when i wasnt working nor i had enough funds. Please advise.

I have a question for the house, I got my aor 6th of April, 2017. My question is this, My job title during ITA(Software Analyst) is different from my job title in PR (System Analyst), Although the job function its still the same as well as the NOC 2171. My concern is that I hope it wont lead to a rejection of my PR Application?
Thank you ...anticipating for reply.

I don't think that should not be an issue, as long a you have listed all your employment information while filing the application.

Looks like syedahraza, cococly, cscscs and I are on the same boat (PNP inland with similar current status and similar timelines). Hope we all get the PPR soon! I have seen folks who have received PPR directly after BGC = IP1 however given that the GCMS notes say that R10 is still in progress, I would think that IP1 is truly where our application stands right now and will likely go through the regular flow IP1 -> NA -> IP2 -> PPR. Having said that, when I called CIC, the agent told me that there is a lot of activity that happens behind the scenes - should we assume that GCMS notes don't always bear the latest & greatest information?

I understand your point here but the key difference lies in the definition of a "Valid Job Offer". I have a job but it does not meet CIC's definition of a "Valid Job Offer" as it is not supported by a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) or my work permit wasnt issued based on an LMIA.

How I interpret is that all PNP applicants should provide and maintain sufficient proof of funds until their landing process is complete and they have their landing papers.

Yeah I assume it depends in each case... For example "My work permit is exempt from an LMIA for other reasons and is employer-specific" and so I also got 50 points thanks to that so I should have a valid job offer.

However, as I said, it's kind of complicated and definitely better to show proof of funds, if you have the amount of money.
