Hi guys,

I am not new to the forum but new to EE. I have created my EE profile and waiting for ITA with CRS 411 but I have one clarification regarding job working hours.

Does it make any difference if the no. of working hours per week input in the Express Entry profile and mention on the Job reference letter are different?

I am not sure that my first job had 8 hours per day or 9 hours per day. As it was a full time job so the hours will definitely be more than 30 hours per week.

Thanks.

I think your reference letter should match whatever you mention in your EE profile. Why don't you talk to your referees and see what hours they are willing to mention on the reference letter and go according to that?

Hi

Thanks for the response.

Actually, I am now working in a different country and want to contact them just once for the reference letter after receiving ITA.

I am in a similar situation. I am in a different country and have to get the reference letters from my home country. I am at CRS 411 too. We are very close to getting the ITA so I would suggest you to go ahead and get the reference letter. As it is your previous job, it won't matter if you get the reference letter before you get the ITA.

Yes, I am also thinking to go ahead with reference letter to save some time post ITA stage. But, I want to know if it won't be count as misrepresentation on my part because I think post ITA, i cannot update my profile. :/

Correct me, if I am wrong.

Certainly wait, but meanwhile, gather all the required documents to file for the Ontario PNP. Their list is long and rigorous.
But, recreating my profile, not taking that chance!!

Do you know how long Ontario NOI is valid for?

Guys, I would like to share my thoughts with you. my CRS is 408 and I am on a PGWP in Canada but not working now. I selected Canada as country of residence in my EE profile, but I am planning to go to my country for vacation in the next 10 days. Should I prepare something from here before going? Should I change my country of residence to my country if I went there before getting an ITA?

Hey guys, I feel sad the draw did not happen last night but I am still positive about a draw to happen later today or tomorrow. If not, May 31st for sure, and as the usual fortnightly draw, the cut-off will come down.

yes that is correct. you cannot change much once you receive ita. but if you contact your referees now, and they confirm what hours they would mention on the reference letter, you would be able to update your ee profile to that and whenever they send you the reference letters, you would be ready to submit post ita.

how long is your PGWP valid till? how long would you be in your country? if its just a short trip, i don't think you have to change your country of residence. as long as you have postal address, contact numbers and a valid PGWP in Canada.

Thanks for replying. My PGWP is valid till 2020. I am not sure how long I will stay there but at least 2 months, and I may stay there until I get PR in case I got ITA.
