Hi,

I got SA on 26th April stating I will get request for Schedule A in 5 business days. But I haven't received anything yet. I called CIC on 15th May, they advised request was sent but didn't reach to PA. Customer service representative said she will inform officer about same and also suggested to report a technical issue. I reported technical issue on 15th May but haven't heard anything from CIC yet. I called again this morning to CIC and they said it will take around a month to get back. I asked if I can submit Schedule A form and PCC using webform but she advised against it. She advised officer will resend the request in email and only then I should send anything to CIC.

Can anyone please advise what needs to be done in this case?

This is what is the issue, every agent replies differently, mine said you should send right away even if its not in your account, other guy said your account issue is on the list. now, read this that one should not send it at all via web form ? Geez lol.

That sucks but you would had to still get it renewed and you would not have wanted to send the older one for visa stamp. Application rejected on what basis though ? When did you submit application and how did they even know he went for renewal of passport ?

I have no idea but he received new passport April 20th and I read the check list and it says "Although you do not need a valid passport or travel document when you submit your application, you must have valid have a valid travel document or passport to be able to travel to Canada and to be admitted for permanent residence" so I thought it would be fine...

I mailed Application April 10th and it was received in office April 11th and mailed back May 12th.

I called today inquire because the passport was valid with expiry date of May 2018 he said they also need accompanying childs passport.

my husband scanned a copy of his new passport along with his sons so I will mail it back Tomorrow.

That's odd. The checklist states you don't need a valid passport when you submit your application but will need one for COPR and when you land. That was the only reason for returning your app?

Well thats what I thought.

they said application missing valid passport for applicant and accompanyinh child. At the time application was sent PA son did not have a passport. I told him he will need it ASAP to do medical so they went in April to get childs passport and he renewed his at the same time since it would expire May 2018. I just receive email of copies of passport and will mail application back tomorrow.

I also got his PCC and Schd A when I was visiting 1st week of May so I will include that in the package as well. or should I wait?

Hi just asking i just received my aor last May15 then when i check my ecas may16 i also got till no.2, it means they send me something in my email? But when i check there no email or junk mail.

Hey I have a similar situation, point 2 is showing that they've sent me correspondence via email but when I check my email there's nothing in there.

Same here i call cic today and the agent said they cant open the file unless the PA call then or if the PA gift me(sponsor) an authorization to open the file

really, i been calling (sponsor) on behalf of my PA and no one informed me that, i wonder if all agents when they get hired go through different training .
