Hey, I commented earlier, but my application was received April 21. No response yet. Now I know they're on April 13, some are lucky and have been contacted before. So my husband is American and put down his passport number from his passport card.....(different number than the one in his passport) but they have copies of his actual passport. Would they return the whole file? Or email me with the mistake. I'm so anxious!

Just received SA approval letter about 30 minutes ago!!!

Timeline:

Application received: April 4
AOR for PA: April 26
AOR for Sponsor: April 27
SA Approval: May 15, 2017 (our 5 month wedding anniversary)

Husband hasn't received anything yet, and no updates in our eCAS yet. I assume this is normal? Or at least not abnormal?

Linking the application is maddening.
So far I have tried
a space in the place of birth, no passport info and 2 then 3 applicants
actual place of birth, no passport info and 2 then 3 applicants
a space in the place of birth, passport info and 2 then 3 applicants
actual place of birth, passport info and 2 then 3 applicants

Still nothing. Annoyingly it's only giving me 4 tries before it locks me out for 24 hours instead of the 5 it says you have.

The only thing I can possibly think could be the problem is that I've put we're moving to Lunenburg in N.S. but there is an option for Lunenburg County. That will be what I'll try tomorrow.

Here's what worked for me (edited from OuIrish's advice):

1.
Log in with GCKey account
2. Permanent Residence - Family Class (Spouses)
3. Application Number and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) - Insert application number and UCI from email
LEFT THIS BLANK: 4. City of Birth - Insert PA's City of Birth
LEFT THIS BLANK: 5. Country of Birth - Select PA's Country of birth
6. Passport Info - Insert Passport number, issuance and expiration info
7. Other Application Info - Fill out the other application info as per your application (Province, City and marital status) and put '2' as the number of
members in the application for sponsor + spouse (add +1 per dependent, if any)
8. Click on the 'Search for my application' tab
9. Then on 'Link my application' tab

Got my SA today... only 4 business days!
Please update.

Application sent : April 7th
Application received: April 13th
Aor received : May 10th
Link application? : Yes (May 14th)
SA received: May 16th

Can someone outline all the stages in Electronic Client Application Status (ECAS). That way we all can have a good referral guide as to what stage we are all at.

Question - Did you mean Monday May 15th?

For those that have received SA, have you gotten the request for Schedule A yet? I got SA on the 11th, got the request for medical but no request for Schedule A or PCC yet. She received the request to link the application (which I did, since I'm her rep) but no request for Schedule A or PCC.

I see this in the email I got:
A request has or will be sent directly to the principal applicant with instructions outlining the requirements for submission of the Schedule A to CPC-Mississauga. If your principal applicant or their representative has not yet received this request, or an invitation to link their application to My CIC, it will be sent in the next 5 business days. Your PA or their representative should also check their junk mail in the email account provided at the time of application submission.

i have another concern
I submitted my application with 2015 NOA in April with reasons providing why i am not able to send for 2016 as I was not in the country during that period.. now that my application is sent back to me (not for the reason of 2015 NOA) but for another reason.. do i still wait till i get my 2016 NOA or send it as it as.. with an explanation (since i was not in canada during the last year, i could not file it online,, and paper applications usually take 8 weeks to get back) what do you guys suggest?

It's extremely easy to get your NOA online. If you don't remember your username and password directly through CRA, you can use one of their sign on partners (most Canadian banks). If you need/want your Option C printout, you can get it there too. Save/Print as pdf

Same is my case maq_33 . I've got the SA approval on May 10th and got exactly the same thing via email.
But did not get any message in my account to upload the documents. I dont whether we should for this week or use the webform to upload the documents ?
