hello everyone,

has anyone been contacted my MPNP officer by phone?
someone has tried to call me but it in the middle of the night here when they called me.
anything that you may have experienced?

not aware that they were interviewing applicants after the sponsor. but if it is true, then you can expect a call from them later tonight.

Is there any ways that I can submit Manitoba EOI?

However, my friend staying in an other province. can i make use of this?

We received our loa last jan5,2017..is it ok i will be resigning from my work prior to cic application submission?

I beg you in the name of almighty God, don't resign your job appointment until you have visa on your passport. the fact that you have sent application to CIC doesn't mean you already have your right of permanent residence visa. wait for your visa before making such decision. good luck

Hi Members,

I am new here, i need your help on urgent basis as i have time of two weeks only for documents submission.
I applied in 2014 and submitted IELTS result with application. Yesterday i received an email for submission of some documents for assessment of my case. The most confusing document is "IELTS result-examination date receipt"(words copied from email). I couldn't get that exactly.
My last IELTS has been expired and my band was 7. I have already submitted its score card scanned copy with application.
My perceptions are:
-Expired IELTS score card re-submission
-Receipt of Registration for new IELTS test

as officially the result can be available in two weeks after the test. the time for response in form of documents submission is two weeks only. The first recent date available is of February. So I believe as far as the documents submission is required in two weeks it can only be the receipt of test date registration.

Please help me to make the matter clear from your knowledge and experience.

From what you stated that your IELTS EXPIRED. you need to make a booking as soon as possible and send evidence of your booking to them. this will not affect your two weeks given as long as you send evidence of new IELTS bookings. Good luck

You need connection at Manitoba (job/relative/friend) to be eligible for MNMP else you can not.
there is one another way(immigration supported by City of Morden), you can try if your occupation is out 5 in demand . For this refer the city website & check your eligibility.

I will be submitting my EOI by the end of the month, after I get my IELTS results, and I have few questions in mind right now.

1. Educational certificates - Do I need to get an ECA?
2. Employment history - Do they need testimonials as well or the required details they stated in their website is good enough?
2. Settlement funds - Do I need to declare 'how much do I have now' or 'how much will I bring to Manitoba? because I am waiting for my bonus which will be given out by end of January 2017 and I want to add that in my settlement fund.

To answer your questions
1. no need for ECA under MPNP. 2. Your employment history for the last five years with reference letter from each employer. 3. settlement fund is $10,000 for single applicants, $2000 for each additional family member. Your bank statement must show this amount and you can use valuation report if you have building or landed property.

Dear All,

i need your advice regarding what to select for "Fully recognized by provincial licensing body" YES or NO?

Note that i checked the CTTAM & apegm website about the procedure to be licensed/member ship and mailed them but still waiting their response to my email because am not living in Canada and i need to get the 100 points since after I did check on the jobbank.gc.ca i found that my profession requires certification in the province or territory: Manitoba!

Thus I need to know shell i Put YES which this evidence of proof and also i have a proof from NOC that my NOC is 2147 (Telecommunication Engineer)

Please need your advice what i shell do and put YES or NO because my profession needs to be licensed...

you cant claim 100 points because you have not been a registered full member of professional body in Canada.

Hello!I have applied for my sister but it seems like now they are drawing only people who have job offer.Her score is 551.Do you guyz know when they will draw for people who doesnt have strategic initiative?does anyone knows how to get this strategic initiative please while living in winnipeg for my sister?Thanks

Hi Allen,

My status is still under "assessment in process". It has not change so far and I hope that they don't request for any additional document(s)/information from me.
from what I have read from the previous threads in this forums, they will notify you (not right away) of the information/documents that they need.
You may want to check you spam/junk mail as it might be routed there as well.
- is your IELTS taken within the past 2 years?
- the bank statement you have submitted is it more than 1 yr ago from today?
- or probably some document(s) that you may have missed to submit?
- or anything in your application that they need to clarify on.
run through your documents and application see what possible document they may need from you.

btw, so your status was changed from "assessment pending" to "information requested" a day after your sponsor was interviewed? Did you had "assessment in process" status before your sponsor was interviewed?

- No idea about what I have missed. Because my IELTS and bank statement are updated.

I'm not sure about the status of my MPNP before they've interview my sponsor, what I've remember is that it was "RECEIVED". until now They have no e-mail with regards on the information they need to know.

Re: my sponsor's interview.
he told me that the call was only about 10 mins or so.
-they've asked how we are related to each other
-what help they can give to me when I migrate in manitoba
-they've asked about my education, work, trainings, etc
-they've asked their history in canada.. (like when did they migrate, their status, etc).
-they've asked if we have other relatives in canada (both in manitoba and other provinces).
-they've asked info about my wife...like work, educations, etc.

Re: my interview (applicant)
it was a very short call...about 5mins+
-they've asked if I have other relatives in Canada (I mentioned everyone that I declared in my application, including those who are not in Manitoba).
-they've asked if I have plans to transfer to other provinces (they asked this maybe because I have cousins in other provinces. they dont want those who will be granted approval then later will transfer to another province).
-they've asked if I have other applications in other provinces.
-they've asked info about my cousin who are in other provinces (told them I have no idea - which is true).
-they've asked why I choose Manitoba.
-they've asked about what my sponsor is doing (like work, etc) - I was not able to provide concrete answer coz we never talked about work before.
-they've asked what my other relatives in manitoba is doing....told them retired already.

it was an almost yes/no interview, except on why I choose manitoba and some info about my sponsor and my other relatives (both in manitoba and other provinces).

it is very rare that they will call the applicant. I think they called me because I have 2 first cousins in other provinces which they want assurance that I wont transfer there once they give me the LOA.
Finger's crossed at this time...I have not receive the LOA yet.
