Plzz advise who is in nursing profession and doing ECA

Hi Guys,

Please help me, if we are not satisfied with WES report then which other agency i go for do my ECA report again? Please suggest

Problem : as my education is in : "Nursing" they marked by studies as Canadian Equivalency: three year of hospital study and training which is not count in EE point system.


Following is my WES ECA report :

Credential Authentication: Official transcripts were sent directly by the institution
Credential: Diploma in Nursing
Major/Specialization: Nursing
Canadian Equivalency: Three years of hospital study and training

Are you a diploma nurse from India? Is your course a 3 year or 3.5 year nursing program? if yes, then you cannot do much as thats how canada considers it, just as a hospital training. No point in trying with other agency as well. Try to assess your bachelor and master degrees instead if you have any.

so do you have diploma or bachrlor in nursing?

if you are sure that you get points for your course then ask them to reevaluate if that is an option.

thats so bad. ask them to reevaluate. or you can just claim for 2 year diploma.

I am wondering if i do my ECA again with another body so what are the chances that i am getting the same results? did anyone get the same results.

not sure as i did only through WES.

but there are many degrees related to medical that they do not recognize in north america if you have done in outside north america.

thats wrong but for them they have different standards so we cant argue with their ways.

but still you can try with ICAS or some other agency.

Equivalency is usually evaluated based on information from transcripts. I sympathise for you. You can try your luck but don't get your hopes too high. See if u can get points for ur other degrees..

Hiii...i have done bachelor degree and then gnm.which one should i get credentials for?

Hi

Where did you do your GNM from?
I did it from Maharashtra. My question is

1. The Nursing certificate will be send to WES/ICES from the nursing council
2. The Transcript will be send from the nursing college.
