I don't think it is mandatory to send the medical receipt...but many of us prefer to send it along with other documents.
I have done medical from Dar Al Afia (Dammam) as well and my receipt states the same i.e. NZ visa. Not an issue I guess.

I have lived in US during 2000-2004 and CIC asked me to submit FBI certificate. I would suggest you to apply for FBI certificate ASAP even your agent advised against. Nowadays the process is taking around 5 months.
You must fill out the applicant information form and obtain a set of your fingerprints. You can download the form & fingerprint cards (FD-258) from FBI website.
Print multiple copies of fingerprint cards and take it to the nearest Police station. Why you need multiple fingerprints because sometimes it is possible that your fingerprint card is not legible and in that case FBI will ask you to resend the prints (after waiting of around 4-5 months) and another waiting of 4 months. This is why it is important to send more than one properly filled copies. However no need to send additional fee.
If you want to pay your fee through credit card then you need to print another form. So in total you will send three docs 1) Application form, 2) FD-258 cards 3) Payment form by CC or demand draft
One more important point, if you have any friend or relative in USA, it is better to use their mailing address and later they can forward it to you through courier service. This will reduce the chances of certificate loss during mail because FBI send certificate through ordinary mail.

PROVIDING DRIVING EXPERIENCE FROM SAUDI ARABIA

[size=12pt]PROVIDING DRIVING EXPERIENCE FROM SAUDI ARABIA

Most of you know that if you have over 2 years of driving experience in your home country, you will be eligible for G2 drive test and if you pass it, you will be granted G license immediately without the waiting period of G1 then G2 licenses (this is applicable in Ontario, I'm not sure about the practice in other provinces).

I have driving experience of over 11 years in Saudi Arabia. But my license is the old format so it doesn't show issue date, so I had to go to Traffic department and get a print-out of my driving license detailed history to prove driving experience of over 2 years. Luckily the officer was kind enough to print it and stamp it. So I prepared the letter to take it to Canada and translate it there to try my luck getting exempted from G1 and G2.

I came to know that the new Saudi driving license has the ISSUE DATE printed on the license card in Arabic. So I decided to re-issue my Saudi license (only re-print, the same expiry date will apply) in the new format. For that you have to pay 100 SAR (online banking or ATM, by SADAD) and go to any Dallah-Murur office (the ones with driving schools). Submit the form and old license (sometimes you have to do vision-check - depending on the office who takes your application) and get the re-issued license on the same day afternoon.

I have communicated with a certified translator in Toronto/Mississauga, the rate was CAD 35 for translating the driving license report and CAD 25 for translating the license card.

You can get the approved translators in Ontario in the below link:

Best wishes.. and drive safely.

:) Hello Forumites, Smiley

Good news...after a long wait, we received medical request and RPRF from NDVO.
I am a July 16th applicant, 2171 code and received MR on 12-March. 2nd line update says "processing started on 5 Feb.

I have a query on RPRF payment. I do not have credit card. Can I pay it via debit card/net banking? Please if some one has paid via net banking or debit card please let me know the process, because when I followed the link given in the email i saw only the option of credit card payment.
If not, can I pay it through my friends credit card? Please advise. Also reg, Medicals, I am currently in Saudi Arabia and I can do the medicals from a panel physician in Riyadh right?

Also I want to get my visa to be stamped in Riyadh instead of NewDelhi Visa Office. I heard from few nice friends from this forum that it is possible and I need to drop an email to NDVO when I receive medical request...Now that I received my MR, Please let me know to which email id I should send an email to NDVO asking them to transfer my papers to Canada embassy in Riyadh? Is it delhiimmigration@international.gc.ca? or should i submit a request via the link given in the email?

For those whose driving license doesn't show the issuance date.

Most of you know that if you have over 2 years of driving experience in your home country, you will be eligible for G2 drive test and if you pass it, you will be granted G license immediately without the waiting period of G1 then G2 licenses (this is applicable in Ontario, I'm not sure about the practice in other provinces).

Luckily the officer was kind enough to print it and stamp it (in Traffic office at Alkhobar). So I prepared the letter to take it to Canada and translate it there to try my luck getting exempted from G1 and G2.

Recently I came to know that the new Saudi driving license has the ISSUE DATE printed on the license card in Arabic.

Although there are some hassle (as you have to go to Murur twice) or let your company GPR department do it for you, at the end, you will save the effort of going to Murur office and convincing the officer to print it and stamp it. And about the cost of 100 SAR, you will be paying almost the same amount for translation of that driving detailed report letter in Canada. But if you have the license in the new format, you will be required only to translate the license card.

I have communicated with a certified translator in Toronto/Mississauga, the rate was CAD 35 for translating the driving license report and CAD 25 for translating the license card. You will have to translate both if your license doesn't show issue date.
