Unfortunately due to the mistake that we did while submitting my parnter's application (the flight was amended to a prior date due to the strike back in 2024 and we missed this detail so used the old ticket and lost 6 days in the calculation) but with the buffer we put total physical presence count came down to 1093 instead of 1095 and IRCC officer sent a PFL asking us either withdraw the application and go to the citizenship judge for further discussion.

We will be choosing withdrawl since there is our mistake but it's a pity to go back to the line just because of 2 days. Whati's done is done, should've be more careful.

Good to see that officers are doing a great job checking every detail, I am actually impressed by it.

My own application was fine tho, probably going to get a ceremony invite soon.

Honestly, i always feel that they should take into account the amount of physical presence after submitting application too. Like if you've mostly stayed in canada after submission, the eligible days would've far exceeded 1095 days. But unfortunately they don't accept such consideration...
