I will PM you a link to a whatsapp group, last time I posted it for some reason it was deleted (or at least I think because it was gone later) so I don't know if maybe posting links isn't allowed?

Hi everyone,
I submitted the application on December 31. Today, I (the sponsor) received this email. I don’t understand why it was sent to me instead of the PA, as I am not the representative of the PA. The email does not include any attachments, and I don’t think it is the AOR. It also appears to be an automated message, and the fact that they emailed me on a Saturday makes it even more confusing.

It suggests creating an account using the provided UCI, but when I try to create one for the sponsor, the system does not recognize my information. PA did not receive any email, and no update on the portal. Is this normal? What should I do? Thanks

UCI: 6xxxxx
Application No.: F0xxxxx
Please reference these numbers when corresponding with IRCC.

Dear KASRA
This letter confirms that your application to sponsor member(s) of the family class, was received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on 2025/12/31 on behalf of the following member(s): XX YY

Next step:
If your sponsored family members and their accompanying dependents were between the ages of 14 and 79 years of old (when the application was submitted) they will need to give their biometrics (fingerprints and photograph). At this time, we ask that you submit the biometric fee, if you did not include it with your application submission. Once the biometric fee has been paid, the applicant will receive a Biometrics Instruction Letter (BIL) providing additional information on how to provide their biometrics.
For additional information on biometrics, please visit the IRCC website at: https://www.canada.ca/biometrics
When should I contact IRCC?
You must notify Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) of any changes to your application. Examples of changes include:
· Change in status in Canada: you must submit a written statement to IRCC and include evidence to indicate the status in Canada of all persons listed in your plication for permanent residence;

· Changes in your personal circumstances, including birth or adoption of a child, death of a family member, a marriage or a divorce;

Ø If you have a child, you must specify whether or not they are to be added to this application. If that child is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, please provide a copy of their document, which indicates their status in Canada (i.e. Canadian birth certificate, Canadian passport, Canadian citizenship certificate, Canadian permanent resident card, etc.).

· Change of contact information (e-mail, mailing address, telephone number);

· Appointment or change of immigration representative or designated individual; and/or

It is AOR. Go to gckey and make that, link the application using the PA's family name and the application number from AOR, when it asks for number of people put 2 (unless you have dependents also). Then go to the Application Status Tracker and make one for the sponsor using the UCI and application number from AOR and also make one for the PA using the UCI you will find on gckey and the same application number.
