It's possible, but my last name is very rare + I'm white European.
Overall, I don't think I'm stuck for years. Probably just a couple more weeks.

In the end, I think to ask them a full profile (not just notes) to see why I got stuck.

I submitted my application on Aug 29 and received my AOR on Oct 28, and the tracker got activated on Nov 1st. Is it normal that I have not received a test invitation yet? I see many Aug applicants, particularly a few Aug 28th applicants, completed their tests on other platforms. I sent a webform, but I think they send an auto-reply response.

I finally got my test invitation on Jan 19 and completed the test on 23rd. I also got an update that my background was checked on 23rd, but the test is still in progress. Is it normal for team3?

Yes, I requested for e-certificate but surprisingly got invite for in-person

I just logged in today, and my BG check was marked complete on 8th January. Updated in tracker 10 Jan.

You’re only a few days behind my schedule so it’s entirely possible that your BG check could be a couple more weeks. Wouldn’t stress too much.

Given the “official” processing time from start to finish is 13 months currently, we’re still very much in the normal time frame. Unless your application blows out longer than that they won’t really prioritize any applications.

Question for y'all who applied in August and have had more progress at this stage :

Outside of the test/oath ceremony invite, When other stuff like Background, Language, Prohibitions and Physical Presence stages change status to in progress/completed, do we get an email informing us of these updates ? or an email alert indicating there's an update on the tracker so we can login to check ?

or do we just have to login to the tracker every week or few days to keep checking without email alerts ?
