Hi, I submitted my mother's application on Sept 18, 2025. Till today I haven't received ADR or AOR. Should I phone IRCC and ask them for an update or is it normal?
Thank you

Hello Everyone, I recently received my parents PCC request as part of 2025 PGP program. I needed some help with two queries:

1. I created an account for my dad and now trying to book PCC appointment through passport seva kendra. But I dont get the email OTP. My dad is in India and he gets the mobile OTP, but we cant proceed further without both the OTPs. I am in Canada facilitating the online stuff. Anyone else experienced this issue? I have tried everything but it's not working. Am I the only unlucky one here, or did anyone else navigate through this problem?

2. Secondly the letter says the following:
Police Certificate: The principal applicant and their dependent family member (if applicable) must provide police certificates from:
•Their current country of residence if they have resided there for 6 months or more, and
•The country where they have spent most of their adult life since the age of 18 (if different than current country of residence).
Your relative is required to obtain the police certificate from that country’s law enforcement authorities.

Now my parents are in India (this is their current country of residence) and they were in Canada a few years ago on Visitor visa and stayed for more than 6 months once. They did not have a Super Visa, just an extended visitor visa for 10 months. As per the letter, do they need a PCC from Canada, since India (and not Canada) is their current country of residence and also their home country

They do not need a PCC for time spent in Canada.

Hello everyone,

From time to time, I visit this portal to review and compare the progress of parent sponsorship applications. Recently, the processing seems to have slowed down.

I would appreciate any guidance or insight regarding the status of my parents’ application. The timeline is as follows:

  • Invitation received: August 6
  • Application submitted: September 20
  • ADR requested: November 14
  • ADR resubmitted: November 29
Since then, there has been no further movement. The online portal continues to show the status as “Submitted.”

The ADR was sent via email as instructed.

Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
