Extend or change the conditions of your work permit

I applied for a new work permit with an LMIA in September.
About 7 weeks ago, I requested authorization to work while waiting for my new work permit to be approved, but I haven’t received any response from IRCC yet.
Has anyone here successfully received authorization to work while their new work permit application was still in process?
I submitted my request through the IRCC web form and included the priority code PPCHANGEWORK2020.
Can someone please tell me if there’s another way to apply for this letter or if I just need to wait?

Will likely depend on your specific case and whether IRCC feels like there is a good chance your WP will be approved. Canada is trying to reduce the volume of temporary workers in general.

Applied October 30th. No email yet. When did you apply? Please give an update here if you get it so we can be hopeful!

well I applied on 10th October , nothing yet. I sent 3 times webform, nothing

Try to call IRCC and check if the web form has been uploaded to your profile. I checked and apparently it's still not. Told me to check with them again in 7 days.

called them today. the man told me it would be sent to me in a few days. however, don't know if should expect it.

I hope you do!! What is the method you uploaded the webform for ppchangework2020? Is it through 'other' under IRCC webform page? Because they are still saying that the webform I raised is not shown in my file. So confused.

yes , I applied through other. I am sure other is right. did u receive any response from ircc to show they know the webform details?

I only got the email immediately following submission of the webform through 'other' saying - Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We confirm the receipt of your IRCC Web Form via this automated response. When I called IRCC they said they don't see the webform raised with ppchange2020 and the only webform they see on my file is the current work permit I submitted through a different webform to support my new work permit application. So both ppchange2020 I have submitted still don't show on my file it seems. I'm not sure what to do.
