Does anyone here have experience calling IRCC to change their PR card delivery address after eCoPR? I got my eCoPR two weeks ago, no GU1 or GU2 yet, and need to change my address. Just wondering if anyone who's done this can tell me if change of addres at this stage delayed their PR card or caused any other issues at all.

Call IRCC as soon as possible. Also would advise if at all possible monitoring old address as it could show up there.

It happened with my case. I changed my address after eCOPR by calling them but they said they have already sent my information to the production department to issue the card so they cannot edit the mailing address nor changing address on the card itself. So call IRCC as soon as possible before they do that. I'm still waiting for my card. (I purchased mail forwarding from Canada post so even if they mail it to my old address it will be forwarded to my new address)

-Unfortunately IRCC seems just plain bad at updating addresses (I guess different internal databases or something). [TBF it's not just IRCC - I've lived in my place for 4+ years and previous residents still get mail here - from their current employer, a large hospital.] So do check at old address.

-There is no address on PR card itself.

-Be aware: some documents and mail cannot be forwarded and I think PR card is one of them, and the envelope may be marked "do not forward." Do *not* rely upon Canada Post forwarding this. Unfortunately I can't say exactly how CP will deal with it in this case. You could ask Canada Post (although as with everything, I am not sure call centre people will have this info).

Same situation for me I'm wanting my card for last 17 days but nothing
Can I have to send specimen declaration and should change my address any body suggest me?

I do not know when you applied or heard it was being sent or anything. Up to you of course.
I called IRCC and agent confirmed to me that they had mailed PR card on October 24 which I have not received yet.
The card should arrive within 4 to 8 days of being mailed, just like everyone else is getting it.
I didn't know card stuck in Canada Post
I call Canada post they said need tracking number for checking. How I can provide tracking number

Are you still residing at the address that IRCC has on file?

Because that's what this thread is about.

As far as I know, IRCC does not send out PR cards using tracking number, and I don't have any more info. Personally I would wait a couple more weeks before starting the course of applying for reason of non-delivery - because the CP strike did create some backlogs and whatnot.

Again, up to you.
